Speaking on the MacIntyre drop: He gets a drop because he felt the sprinkler head under his feet as a left-handed golfer. If that's a right-handed golfer, they most likely don't feel it and thus don't get to take a drop, but this makes me wonder if players could start taking even more advantage of the rule by addressing the ball from both sides as they approach their shot just in case they feel something. "Oh yeah I would totally hit this one left-handed because the angle is better and I like the line, but my foot would be on the path. I think I should get to drop"

It’s not that hard to have 1 round a year that’s like 8 shots bellow your average round. I have so many buddies with 90-95 handicaps who can shoot and 85 any day of the week but almost never do. If they’re on that day and just driving the ball amazing and holing putts. It can happen to anyone. You don’t have to shoot your handicap. Buddy is gonna go out next week and spray a few off the tee and end up shooting 100 lol
A divot is man made. It would not be there without another player making it. The fact that you can get a perfect lie in the crap because of a sprinkler head and you can't move your ball an inch out of a divot in the fairway where you are supposed to hit the ball is shit, period. You can't reconcile the two.

If a right handed player lines up left in order to get relief, they have to hit the shot left handed. Not sure if it would be worth a drop...
