You're not imagining things, this is a reupload due to an error in the original upload. Alex feels his life is now a lie but he will save vital calories no longer pressing A for a third time.
I'm actually having a blast playing this game. Sure there aren't that many courses to start but the single player campaign is a lot of fun and the GOLF is really good. I wish there were more collectibles and clothes to get but it's enjoyable still.
Other tip: When you're playing against a Yoshi, they're likely to use their special shot against you when you're on the green and trying to putt. If you have an egg on the green, DO NOT PUTT IT. Instead, switch to your sand wedge, aim directly at the pin and shoot. It's much more likely that it chips in due to the egg's giant hitbox.
Full height with a weak wind behind you, even something like 7 mph, is going to make you drive less far. The wind has got to be pretty strong for height to make enough of a difference when increasing your flight path angle against the ground. In zero wind, increasing the angle will shorten the distance your ball will carry AND the distance the ball will run. So if the wind isn't strong enough to overcompensate for both of those things, you're not going to see any positive difference. One level of height instead of all three is usually more impactful. And the biggest tip BY FAR in my opinion is to always think one shot ahead, and use a whole lot of backspin and super backspin to do it. If the hole is 400 yards long and you can use your 240-yard drive to guarantee your first shot stays in the fairway and isn't in front of a tree or something and thus has a good angle to the green, even using backspin on your drive is worthwhile. This is easily applicable on every course in the game, particularly on holes with thin, undulating fairways that angle off in another direction not completely parallel to your ball flight path. It is extremely rare that using topspin on a tee shot will mean the difference between hitting a par 5 green in two shots instead of three, and if that IS the case, or if there is nothing that would cause your second shot to be difficult after using topspin (like on many holes on the Rookie Course), then by all means go for it. But if you're on a hole like Hole 9 of the Rookie Course, and you hit a drive in the center of the farthest section of fairway you possibly can with mid to long-drive characters (without star clubs), the slope of the fairway will usually cause your ball to roll into the rough, even with only standard spin and without topspin. The reason why this matters is that your next shot is a more difficult one where you have to shape your shot around a large tree in order to land on the green in two. If you're in the rough, you have a much larger variance of how far to the right or left your ball will move (and I've found that distance is sometimes affected from the rough), and when you're trying to hit a precise shot like that, playing your second shot from the fairway instead of the rough will greatly increase your chances of putting yourself within a reasonable eagle chance, so in a case like that and MANY others, don't worry about throwing backspin or super backspin on your tee shot so that you stop the ball right where you want to. Following the theme of thinking one shot ahead, backspin and super backspin are extremely helpful in stopping the ball right where you want to on the green as well. Some players may argue that your ball doesn't travel over as far an area and reduces your chances of sinking an approach shot from 100+ yards out, and while that's true, the way to really lower your score is to stick the ball as close to the hole as possible all of the time Standard and topspin are risks when approaching the hole; the more the ball rolls, the more difficult it is to stop it exactly where you want, and the more the ball is affected by the green's undulation, almost always for the worse when hitting a shot from that far out. To cap it off, use backspin and super backspin in the fairway often, and use super backspin almost always when approaching the green. If you are intent at lowering your score, little things like that will greatly increase your consistency.
It must take a lot of work to do these videos (including editing them). A couple of tips here I didn't know. Thank you for your hard work, all well worth it. You can relax now 😂
I feel like I just sorta jumped into Super Rush not knowing much, leaving the experience to be kind of weird. I feel like knowing these, I could enjoy the game a lot more now.
I realized just how much technique speed golf has when I found out they just allow Boo/Rosalina to ignore all speed reducing terrain/short jumps, and even walk on water if they have the stamina. Hopefully this tip helps, and we all find some more distinct features of characters we play.
For Mario Golf World Tour players: One of the big differences in terms of spin is you have to decide whether you will be spinning forwards or backwards at the same time as determining your power, so it's best to really know what the wind is doing so you choose the correct spin button at the top of the power bar. In World Tour you could just get close to the power you want, and then decide whether to spin forwards or backwards especially when your power was wrong. Thanks for the tips NL!

In previous Mario Golf games that’d be the “third click” meet area. In this one it will always be perfect as long as you don’t go to far into the red at the top of the hit gage. If you go into the red it’s random and you lose some control over which way the shots going.
yeah once in the red as mentioned, i believe it is a combination of the last hit gage and the characters' stats (some seem to go wild more often than others, unless i'm imagining that.)
@@mulvy45 It will not always be perfect... there is random variance and how likely it is to end up dead center is based on the control stat. (Control also reduces the red area's size typically.) Yet there is no way to ensure accurate shots so things like Hole in 1 and Albatrosses are entirely luck based. This is actually partially why chip-ins and Hole in 1 are as common as they are in this game.

I don't care. Peach has very nice legs.
And Super Rush is not really a bad game at all.
The biggest tip, characters with "Blast Ball out of the way" are useless. Their knockback area is a nightmare to hit balls with and when someone like Bowser or Yoshi or anyone really uses their AoE to ruin your day you can only cry as you're helpless and unable to get revenge.
Wow, those tips were as basic as it could possibly get. How bout some more advanced tips for the gamers that aren't morons? I know making content for the casual idiots is somehow a thing but yeah, how bout some tips that are actually helpful that anyone over the age of 8 would find helpful?
chip it about -5-10 yards over the pole and add super back spin and it will always chip it in. lmaoo i been doing this on multiplayer
Tip 1 i had no idea about. No way they meant for you to be able to do that, Wouldnt be surprised if they patch that

The game literally touches on all this if you play the adventure mode
Yeah nothing new here pretty bad tips and tricks imo
Amazing people actually play this.
Yet here you are, watching a video on it.
If I can offer a tip to the creators of the video: You are giving us tips. Maybe don't show footage of you being a +10 on Hole 10 when trying to teach people how to improve.
second yes new record hahahahaahah
Video is a waste of time to say 4 simple things....Don't waste your time.
(1) go straight at the hole....
(2) use spin.....
(3) Putt harder past the cup....
(4) You don't have to swing if you press A once....
HORRIBLE WASTE OF TIME
I'm passing on this. I'm not really into sport games. Nintendo, just give us a new DK ffs! 🤷🤦
One big tip is DON'T BUY IT BECAUSE IT'S TRASH
