Thank you for this confirmation Yemi!!! I had to grow up at a very young age & my innocence was stolen from as early as I can remember. So I didn't experience much of being a child. I was always taking care of & having to be concerned about the people around me. I've always been a problem solver & a fixer. This has caused me to be very serious and very driven. To a fault though, because I always put other people's needs above my own. God told me not long ago that He Wanted me to "practice having fun". I literally had to set a timer on my phone to play with our 3 year old son & to make a regular practice of it. I'm embarrassed to admit that I watched the timer & longed for the time to end in the beginning. However we've had some REALLY fun & silly times that I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING!!! I had to grow up at a very young age & my innocence was stolen from as early as I can remember.
So I didn't experience much of being a child. I was always taking care of & having to be concerned about the people around me.
I've always been a problem solver & a fixer. This has caused me to be very serious and very driven. To a fault though, because I always put other people's needs above my own.
God told me not long ago that He Wanted me to "practice having fun". I literally had to set a timer on my phone to play with our 3 year old son & to make a regular practice of it.
I'm embarrassed to admit that I watched the timer & longed for the time to end in the beginning. However we've had some REALLY fun & silly times that I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING!!!
God Told me that my family & I will be "rolling on the floor laughing hysterically" when we see what He's Doing.
