- Renaissance fair season is approaching rapidly and one of my most common questions is- "how do you put random pieces together for a ren faire look?" So I made this little guide to always having a unique ren faire outfit! Can't wait to see you guys rocking your looks!!

A hooded robe is easy for anyone too. They’re fairly easy to find or make, and you can wear whatever you want (or not) under it. They work for all kinds of cosplay too, not just a renfest.
My area renfest is in autumn.
Loveeeeee watching someone be excited and creative with clothes! The way you styled everything makes me want to go out and thrift some flouncy bouncy skirts immediately.

Besides being adorable with spectacular hair, you seem so very kind AND your ability to DIY so many different styles is just outta this world.
Another easy thrift tip: instead of a corset, look for vests/gilets! Especially leather ones give it a more badass warrior princess look

I always went to the SCA and EMP. It's so different from Ren Faires. I only went to one Ren Faire. Sounds so fun!

I love Rennfaire! I have been to MI, KY, OH and along long time ago the one in NY , Sterling I believe. I used to dance ATS so I have 25 yd skirts that layer amazingly, are voluminous and tuck-able in a lot of configurations . Plus all the hip scarves, coin belts and jewelry. Hmm I may have to do some fairies this year.

but it's usually near the end of the year. starts sometime in october.
ive gone, but never in costume bc im the type to "if i dont perfectly have everything for the exact costume in my head, im not wearing it" but arrghhh, i want to be a winter elf so bad, but I dont have anything to make that come true at the moment. so i always end up wearing something peasant-y or pirate-y 😭

I tried to go to my first Ren Faire in Nashville TN last year. (There is a castle there) Couldn't get anywhere near it. The line to get in was hours long. Ive never been both happy and annoyed that so many ren geeks exists. 😅 I gave up and left

Love these looks!! My favorite Ren Faire outfit sadly got destroyed many years ago. I was in the process of moving and the wardrobe they were in somehow fell out of the back of the truck and was run over on the freeway. I was devastated.

I miss Ren Faire. My husband and I have been to a few, and at times I just went with friends. My son had his little helmet, sword and shield for years. I have a walker now (albeit all terrain walker-they exist), so maybe we can get to one this year. And we can bring our small, four legged fest beasts. Thank you for a wonderful and fun video. I think you talked me into going to a faire. Edit: donut forget the possible skirts you can diy from thrifted table clothes.

But you have helped me to have the vision! hahaha. Here there are not so cool events but there are some medieval fairs and I like to dress up for the occasion. I always go with the same outfit because of lack of money and imagination. Now you have given me imagination!

Great ideas. Vintage and costume jewelry I normally wear. Rather lose fake Jewels VS real ones. I have a pirate look. Even put little dragon/bat wings on my PiRats (ferrets). I always wear wire wrapped stones.

I’m going to the ren faire I went to last year which is on my birthday this time so this time I want to dress to match my hair with a theme and be protected from the sun 😂 ever since I saw some mushroom hats on Pinterest I wanted to make one and be a mushroom fairy and I found a real mushroom that has all the colors of my hair from top to bottom bright purple pink and a bit of platinum (or in the mushrooms case cream) thought instead of a hat I’d try to make a mushroom parasol but I’ll see which way it will go. I’ve been hoarding an Amazon gift card since 2 bdays ago and now I finally know what I want or remembered 😂 definitely getting a purple dupe (might need to do a dye to get the right purple) and maybe a pink one gotta check out those skirts too I’m in love with layering and I want something airy and light. I love that you thrifted most of them cuz I keep thinking about going soon that and I just snatched back some dresses I was going to donate for the fabric 😅

I literally have no idea if the UK even does ren faires, never been to one but I'd love to - I have been dying for one of those billowy pirate shirts for ages solely because it is my goal in life to be Westley from the Princess Bride. This video was so fun, even if it might not be applicable to me presently, I'm loving the longform content you've been putting out!

I had to Google what ren faire (Renaissance faire) even is. In Germany they are called "Middle ages Markt / fest" .
I use a corset as a back brace because it’s much more fashionable. 😂
i bought my corset at the renfaire in 2015. i had a gorgeous outfit for it and now all my stuff for it are gone 😭 needed this so i could get a better idea of how to build a new outfit around the corset

Any corset places good for plus size? All the ones I have tried are too small and not enough middle fabric for it to fit.
