I was thinking about this kit as my first ribbon embroidery. So grateful you did this video, I don't think I would have been able to do it without you. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate receiving validation for the effort I put in. It confirms my initial idea that there will be embroidery enthusiasts out there that would find it useful.
I just got my kit and I was totally confused and lost. Didn’t know where to start. Although the written instructions are probably perfect I’m just not able to understand them as this is my first attempt at sewing in my whole life. I’m really grateful for this tutorial
@@RisasEmbroideryChest Ive got the scissor stand sitting here, along with the doodle clothe. Im ready to start- but nervous. Starting with the stems and Candytuft, not sure which stitch to make the stem though. Any thoughts?
@DRoche911 I use stem stitch. Very simple to embroider. Just make sure you bring out the needle on the same side all the time to ensure the stem looks uniform.
@@RisasEmbroideryChestmy stems turned out beautiful. Thank you. I uploaded a video that shows the finished work, although it isn’t out of the hoop yet.
You can use any cloth (even organza) if you use silk ribbons as the ribbons are smooth and can enter the cloth easily. However, if you use satin ribbons, you’ll need a sturdier cloth but not very thick as the ribbons are thicker and more difficult to pull through. Please watch my videos on Satin ribbon embroidery.
Какая нежность!
My daughter gave me Lorna Batemans book for Christmas and you have made the book come alive. Thankyou.
Thank you for your appreciation. Didn’t know Lorna Bateman has a book out on ribbon embroidery.
