It's also implied during his introduction of Linda that Sherman still wants a doll for himself. The next time we see the whole cult together, the focus is more on using the Wiggly doll as a summoner of sorts for god-form Wiggly, and almost all of Linda's personal motivations are gone (though she is still on the phone with Gerald). Just something I noticed and wondered if it was deliberate.
