I love Godot engine, but I knew this was coming. Their Discord have been pushing rainbow propaganda for quite some time. A bunch of contributors have forked to a new engine called Redot. They're supposed to make an official announcement on Oct 4.
I left that shithole when I saw rainbows.

There are a wide variety of programming languages to choose from.
Get good at vector & matrix math, learn a little something about data & memory management, the graphics don't really even need to be that fancy, as a matter of fact, fancy graphics is usually a turn off to the payer, most want game play.
It's could be blocky 16 color retro-pixels, with a dialog that mocks the user and they will eat it up!!!
Open source? nah, you just need a processor and something to make pixels with, some buttons or other things for input.
Heck, "game engines' weren't even a non proprietary thing til around 2000. before that it was just you and the code.
But that didn't stop us.

The Hexen porkalator was fantastic. My buddy was waiting to snipe me from above on a balcony, but I snuck up behind him and hit him with the porkalator, which turned him into a little piglet. Before he could run off I hit him with an ice wand, which froze him in place. Then I walked up to him and pushed him off the balcony. He fell down and shattered into pieces. Hilarious!

I believe there's a Godot fork called redot which aims to seperate itself from the sjw's. That's the beauty of FOSS if they main branch messes up others can create their own version.
It probably won't have as much support but right now I think it would be basically the same as Godot.

If they can keep the company going without some low level workers, its better than shutting down the company or getting a salary cut. They can always rehire later. This is not an example of special people getting dominion over others.

- The bans are not just Twitter blocks, they are also banning from official Discord channels, and blocking Github accounts.
- The project relabelled a popular Discord server where a lot of bans are happeneing. It was previously listed on their website as "Godot Official Discord" but that reference was removed and they now claim it was "not affiliated with Godot".

I'm a former maintainer of Godot. This is an Orwellian experience. Here are some incidents that happened in Godot before:
1. A former forum admin for Godot (cybereality) has accused the project's leadership of engaging in dishonest practices (see "Is Godot Scam" videos).
2. The Godot physics maintainer (pouleyKetchoupp) faced harassment from another team member and has since joined Rockstar Games as a result.
3. A former Discord moderator (LillyByteGames) for Godot claimed that abusive moderators were hired and accused the leadership of favoritism.
4. An engineer with experience in the AAA gaming industry (Margaret Ó Dorchaidhe) criticized Godot's communication as unprofessional and its development as lacking direction.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
THIS is how we beat these people - with FACTS, not emotion. Call them out at all times, don't let them get away with anything. Call them out and don't be afraid of Cancel Culture, because there are always people who will back you/us (oo pronouns:))

The Flax game engine isn't woke. Also Godot is done. Godot got a massive population increase when Unity did their runtime fee over a year ago and now there will be a shift away from Godot and a lot of them may go back to Unity.
Nah, godot is open source, you can fork it. Noone has to even know you use it. Unity will try some other shitty things. It's in everyone interest a good open source game engine exists (just like blender)

Off-topic but it does directly link to woke. I'm a cat guy in for the last 25 years I have gone to the same vet for all my cat needs. A few months back one of my cats needed to get some shots. I made an appointment and went to the vet. Where I was promptly told that they "no longer served white men." So I had to have my girlfriend take the cat to the vet. She later told me that every single employee at that vet was a Liftist rainbow lunatic. Yeah. Today we drove by the vet and noticed the building was up for leave. The veterinarian office that had been business for 40 years when belly up in 6 months thanks to going woke.
