  • Hi Guys, in this video I want to show you how to make a wire weaving pendant with a prong set accent stone. (Remember that you can watch in HD (bottom right of video) for better quality)
    It somehow reminds me of spring and the abundance of a meadow full of wild flowers so this one is named after the Greek goddess of gardens: 'Antheia.
    I hope you enjoy making this! If you make this, pop it into our facebook group, (link below)I always love to see your version!!

    I don't know how you don't have more subscribers. You are *hands down* the best wire jewelry artist on yt. I am beyond thankful that you post your tutorials on here for free. Not only are your designs original and beautiful, but your instructions are clear and concise. Honestly, your tutorials are better than most of the tutorials other yt artists do that charge $ for them. I, and I'm sure many others, very much appreciate and respect you so so much for that. Thank you

      I have had this account for years, but only started uploading wire tutorials in February this year. Gaining followers in this niche is a really slow process and it will be a lot of consistent effort from my side to make it work. It's still all a learning curve and I am constantly adjusting, but I know it will be a (very) long while before I get anywhere lol. Thank you for your support, it's really appreciated! ❤️

      Hellooooo SA!! I am actually from Swaziland or Eswatini as its called now. I have been living in the UK since 2013 but my home is in Swazi. I only just started getting into making stuff when I left but I remember having real difficulties to find materials. I used to go through to Nelspruit to get supplies. There was a little Chinese bead shop that was paradise for me. I am sure you face the same troubles especially as import takes so long!! I'm fairly new at wire wrapping and tend to mar the wire. You seem to manhandle the wire. Do you mar the wire and how do you fix it? Thank you

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  2 года назад

      I am just careful not to applie too much pressure with my pliers. You can manhandle wire quite a bit as long as you don't marr it with the pliers the thicker guages are quite forgiving. Not so much the finer gauges though, they tend to get brittle and break quickly.

    How do you get your 4 starting wires so straight & kept together?

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  2 года назад

      I just run my fingers along the wire which warms it up a little and helps make it less stiff. You don't really need any fancy tools to do it your fingers do a great job. x

      I use dead soft, bare copper wire, sterling or fine silver depending on the project. This was made with copper.

    I love this but I won't be able to wire wrap for a while as I have a very deep cut in the pad of my index finger.

      Oh no! How did you manage that?? I hope you heal quick. It's an unfortunate spot to have a cut because you use that part particular finger for literally everything!

      Box cutter slipped and went right into my index finger. Sure hurt.

    Where do you buy your stones?

      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад

      I have suppliers all from all over. I get most from India and a few from China. I buy wholesale as I sell in my shop. You can take a look here if you want. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ImbaliCrafts or here www.etsy.com/uk/market/imbali_crafts

    Where are the measurements? I don’t see in transcript or under Materials?? Wth?

      I usually provide measurements of the stones (at the beginning of the tutorial) as everyone's weaving will yield different results. What does 'Wth' mean? 🤔
