  • On a moonlit night, while wandering the desolate backroads of a forgotten countryside, I stumbled upon a peculiar structure shrouded in fog. It was a liminal building, caught between realities, its presence both unsettling and captivating. The exterior seemed to pulse with an ethereal glow, its architecture a blend of archaic and futuristic styles, whispering secrets of times long past and yet to come. As I approached, the air grew thick with an indescribable energy, and I felt an overwhelming urge to step inside, despite an equally strong sense of foreboding. The door creaked open on its own, revealing a hallway that seemed to stretch infinitely into darkness, each step I took echoing the silence of an existence on the brink of two worlds.

Man this is awesome. You should make a tutorial on how you make these beautiful pads! I know there's tons of ways to do it but your stuff has a unique feel to it.

Wow, thank you, that really means a lot! I use a simple method to create the pads themselves, mostly just randomised wavetables with a long decay on the reverb, then for me the trick is to filter out the top and bottom ends, to leave a nice smooth sound in lower mids. You can fill out the lower end with a sub bass, and the top end with some lead pads, bells and plucks. I'll certainly consider a tutorial in future, I think it's something anyone can quickly get to grips with, especially with a bit of practice.

@@ExitSpaceMusic That's cool! I actually do it the same way but with much different results. I guess it's a matter of playing with the right filters and wavetables. For me it often ends up either too bright or too muddy so I'll play around some more.
