This is pretty great, although it should be noted that the early discussion of hookup culture as intertwined with rape culture, while cogent, relies on some radfem assumptions (men are predators and women are prey) that don’t work as well when applied to queer and trans communities. Nevertheless I think the connections should still be studied because I fundamentally agree that rape culture is just as present in public as in private (if sometimes more subtly).
