point of note, don't burn railway sleepers for firewood. They're treated either with creosote or modern ones with a some other nasty chemicals and you really shouldn't be breathing in whatever fumes are released. No matter how good your chimney is, some of that stuff comes into the house.
Of course, love the video, but sorry to nag Tom, The Ginger Warrior with the Moustache really needs more protective gear when chain sawing. I know someone doing similar who ended up cutting in to their leg. It only needs to happen once! Keep up the good work!
cut up the wood and split it then stack it up on pallets and cover the top with a bit of plastic or a tarp if u really want to splash out .....then throw a few blocks on top to keep the cover from blowing away ........... no. need for a shed .......timber will dry quicker out in a windy place than in a shed ........
Croeso Tom and the Ginger monster. Gutted I couldn’t make the show this year but made even worse I missed the chance to say “shutmae”. The food hall is the pinnacle of quality food in the country. Thank you for showing it and great to see your dad enjoyed it too
big roof over as much as you can - doesnt need to be flash, scaffold poles and tin sheets or the canvas stuff scaffolders use over houses, only needs to work
Hey Tom, Watch all your videos. Their great. If you are processing and packaging some of your milk, how about doing a video on that part. We processed and packaged all of our milk from a herd of 200 milking cows for 33 years. Thanks
I bought a timber croc 2 years ago a great bit of kit ,much safer for cutting wood with chainsaw ,takes any shape ,i use anything that will burn in our logburner
I’ve got a ‘timbercroc’ type device which I’ve had for a couple of years. It’s a cracking piece of kit especially when cutting up thin round lengths of timber reducing the risk of kick back to zero. First class demo by dad too. Highly recommended 🇬🇧🚜👍
I've seen that Timber Croc before and it impressed me then. It impressed me this time too and it worked on the farm just as it did in the show. Not sure why you didn't put the bucket of the telehandler underneath to catch the sawn logs though. I liked their three link version, but wondered why they didn't make it as a long transport box so that you can saw and carry with one tool. Old fashioned transport boxes (think the old Massey Fergusons) were long rather than wide so it wouldn't be a new concept. Still, that is a good purchase and of course, your version can be used anywhere you can carry it. A good purchase in my opinion! I hope you had a good time at the show!!
16th! Good morning Tom,Luke, Hiedie, Anna, Hanna, and the rest of the hard working crew on the farm. Including the ginger warrior with a mustache. Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Got the Timber Croc, a design flaw is that if you put a smaller diameter log in that's quite long and it and only engage the bottom set or two you can quite easily bend the teeth out of shape with leverage. Especially since you have to kinda push down on the log anyway for it to properly grab it.
With the current public turmoil surrounding the potential addition of Bovear into the feed rations of cows within the Aria Co-Operative herds will Pemberton's Dairy continue delivering Full-Fart milk to its customers?
The flags of all the nations of the British isles hang from the roof. The showground hosts several events a year including the Royal Welsh Show. This is an International event with prestigious classes in livestock of all types from many countries. Walk the sheds and it’s not unusual to see cattle from Scotland or pigs from England or Horses from Ireland competing. These flags represent the welcome the show extends to these people who travel to raise the level of competition. Oh and we keep a welcome in the hillside unless you piss us off.
you should come do the Houston livestock and rodeo show Tom, see how they do it on this side of the pond, its quite the setup (from an Englishman in Texas)
Great video Tom Thanks for taking us along with you and the warrior Some huge monies spent in that ring That timbercroc looks very similar to the rig Adrian, I Farm You Farm has, and uses Reduces the chance of snatching That'll be the Royal We Tom lol Ginger reminds me of my late father, anything to make life easier, and I hope it works out for the Warrior Such a knowledgeable man Thanks guy's, bought back good memories Take care all Back UK farmer's 🇬🇧 Geoff
I bought a timber Croc at the Royal Highland Show this year off that same man. Just watch you don't get your fingers anywhere the teeth. I hurt a finger nail, very saw.😢 It weighs twice as much by the time you carry it back to the car.😊
Who is that Cool Dude walking by your side Tom, quite a Dandy Farmer. Indeed Tom, you look like David Niven. At this time our super markets are selling lamb that looks like it won the Slimmer of the year award, Wait Rose lamb beats the other stores lamb and thats a fact.
Good to see you out with father, Tom, he's obviously very proud of his purchase ! 🙂 PS: the 'tache suits you, Tom, no need to feel embarrassed. I recently escaped from shaving altogether - its freedom - now have the full Uncle Albert !
You ha8 sheeps. Why. Lol. But yes.(side note does your old man buy like those space heater that plug in yet. ) mine does, sigh😊 if he was onlywearing yellow and wearing blue dungeries. love ya duck.
Great video Tom, the Ginger Warrior certainly has an eye for simple but effective kit. It will certainly save his back and as he said it's a lot safer than cutting on the ground or resting on other logs. 👍.
Thanks Tom for demonstrating how most people have difficulty following instructions. The point was to have the bucket beneath the log such that it would fall into the bucket and not have to be lifted. It's part of what makes the videos fun.
All ways great content maybe you should try testing some chainsaw ppe blunt saw or not deadly bit of kit please wear the correct ppe sorry to be the party pooper
Timber Crock is the busiest. Have one myself, couldn't be without it. Game changer. Great video lads.

That bracket makes cutting the wood so much better.
Of course, love the video, but sorry to nag Tom, The Ginger Warrior with the Moustache really needs more protective gear when chain sawing. I know someone doing similar who ended up cutting in to their leg. It only needs to happen once! Keep up the good work!
You should absolutely colab. with Cammie. The dapper Ginger made a good choice with that Timber Croc.
Had your rib of beef on Christmas day. Tender and delicious med rare 🤤

I will second that. Its what I do 👍

Veddy nice find, thanks for sharing - I need a Timber Croc for firewood to save my back. Happy holidays from Texas 🎄
Get a 4 in 1 bucket for the telly handler and a battery operated chainsaw and you will have a lot of fun cutting wood. 😂
Looks like you both had a good time, will definitely be looking into a timber crock brilliant idea. 👍
Of course we want a sheep game/fed by farmers collab!
Another very interesting video Thank you Tom and Ginger Warrior 😊😊😊
That timber tool looks awesome and I think il be picking one up for my timber businessy stuff! Awesome video Tom 😊
Good for the boss!!!
I can see this being very handy when we get hurricane damage. This would make chopping up tree limbs/debris a breeze.
Great video Tom
Farmer P needs one of them for the tree guys.

Father Pemberton should be on commission for Timbercroc
@@matthewrodgers2360 I agree!!
Try and visit the royal welsh show in July tom
There is so much more to see .
He was at the show this year
With the current public turmoil surrounding the potential addition of Bovear into the feed rations of cows within the Aria Co-Operative herds will Pemberton's Dairy continue delivering Full-Fart milk to its customers?
Great question. I was wondering the same.
Tom has already answered a few times that they won't be using Bovaer ever.
Tom I think in every video you look more and more like your Dad ( just slightly younger looking )
Very interesting. Could be used on one of Tom's cheese sandwiches ?
Question ?? Why is the tri colour hanging up over the cattle ring

Another great 🇮🇪 Irish ☘️ product
can you bolt it to the manito bucket so you dont have to pick the logs up?
A lumberjack log roller, does the same thing only doesn’t hurt your back
☘️💚wishing Tom and all the staff a very happy xmas🎄 great uploads throughout the year 🎊💚☘️
Tom, with your logs outside, could you not cover them with an old sheet off your clamp??😊

When is the Myerscough calf show on coming out
Those two lads, Dylan Thomas, a famous Welsh poet.
Your dad basically selling that log holder. Doing his job for him 😂
Is that a new roller in the background Tom?
