Don’t know why but youtube suggested this video for me! Nice video guys! I am Greek and Milos is one of my favorite islands we have. Something i didn’t see in the video to help others. Milos is a volcanic island too like Santorini. When the volcano exploded hundreds of years before, created an outstanding scenery! Tip from me. First day there take the cruise trip they do with small boats doing the round of the island. You will have the opportunity swim in beaches that are not accessible by car and I promise you that you will see crystal clear waters. Also you will have the opportunity to select which beaches to visit next days which are quite a lot in Milos!!! All the best!

Welcome Tim and Fin to my backyard. Living in Crete the past 2 years I have the good fortune of seeing those sunsets every day. You learn a lot about the Greek people and the culture by living here and I am happy you both got a small taste of how great Greece is. My intake of olive oil has gone up by 1000% and that is a good thing. Travel Safe.

I love Greece, especially the Island of Crete. Very nice People, very friendly and so kind. It was for me a very sensationel Experience in Europe.

How can you go to the Greek Islands without going to Milos, Harriet and I went there just before covid started in March of 2020. Truly our favorite of all of them. You guys did a stunning job with the vlog. The drone shots were amazing. The Dynamic Duo of Tim and Fin make it a trip to remember .Thank you so much for bringing back some great memories of Milos.

From this island is the famous statue of Aphrodite of Milos that was stolen by the French along with the statue of Nike of Samothrace!
I don’t know if you visited the archeological museum on Plaka but they have there a copy of the statue as well as some antiquities from 4.000 bC
Milos is like a piece of Heaven!

Can’t believe I’m only now coming across your channel. You guys are great!
Being there 2 times for 4 days each, went to 3-4 different (and I mean totally different between them) beaches a day and still didn't manage to see them all! Probably the best "beaches" island in the world! The reason of that is that Milos had a lot of quarries with different metals and rocks. So there must be at least 20 beaches with all shorts of colours waiting for you to discover them! Milos Rocks (literaly!)

Hello from Los Angeles, California... Yes I have heard of Milos the Slot Canyons to the Beaches are Amazing, and yes the Rock Falls are a common thing here in the Coast, as well as the Mountains. The Waitress / Hostess in at the 1st restaurant is Right Fin is Beautiful, looks like an Ex-Girlfriend I had, and even has the same little character / baby like instead of saying this, she would say 'dis' in the joy or happy moments.
It's like they were almost sisters, Great Location thanks for sharing

@@kingtaengoo8397 we were there early November! No tourist it was nice almost had the island to ourselves. We have only been to main land Greece, Santorini and our favorite island Crete! Crete as you know is huge with so much to see & discover. We wouldn’t discourage you from going to Santorini, we stayed in Fira over looking the caldron. Stunning! We have videos on our Greece trip if you like to take a look. 😊
Greek Australian. But my family is from the village on Milos pollonia and my grandparents grew up in kimolos (the smaller island to the north west) ill probably end up living here during the summers in the not to distant future. and i have to be honest. This island is a hidden Gem but it won't be to hidden for long. My family has rooms to let there and the tourist season seems to be getting longer and busier. Ill be chilling here in July cant wait!!!! Try and find the Greek Aussie dude in Pollonia probably by a little beach!

Hey guys, I'm one of your followers have been following you guys for years I thought that was seven magnificent shot of think at. For those that don't know what I'm talkin about need to go back and watch it again. I just want to know the difference if this is a European or a Greek thing drinking a rozay in ice so he could maybe clarify that I don't know I've never seen that before normally I drink my wine somewhat refrigerated but if not at room temperature thank you guys I love you guys very much come. I'm always admired by your abilities and how you guys can travel I'm planning on mimicking you as soon as I can and then I want to follow you guys throughout the planet. Good job, Allison you are a remarkable woman and I think you're the brains behind all this. And Tim I think you're like the administrator or the one that actually makes things happen. One skin behind every successful man is said incredible talented woman period And I think you guys aren't the exception to that rule
It's a thing in hotter climates where you just need your wine to be refreshing. Go for very frozen ice cubes if possible so that you don't end up with a lot of water in your glass or plastic ice cubes (they are plastic on the outside) so you end up without water at all. Rozaay wines are good for this because they don't easily lose their acidity diluted in water.
That drink you saw with ice is not wine, but an Italian wine based cocktail which is also fairly popular in Greece called Aperol Spritz. Its made of prosecco (white frizzy wine), bitters (aperol) and soda.
Last summer i watched ur videos of Mikonos and Paros. Your videos helped us throughout the whole trip since we're not super experienced in traveling. But I sat down with a paper and pen and took notes :D (been a long time since i did that :P)

Actually IMO the best Greek island is the one we haven't yet been to!!!! :) From the ones I've been to, I'd pick Kythera, or Amorgos, or Sikinos, or Folegandros maybe Ithaca!
I have been several times the last 5 Years in Milos, I think about 7 or 8 times. I love this island. The island is also not famous to Europeans but if you get the chance you should visit it!!
Don´t forget to do the boats tour at least at the one part of the island. Its incredible there are some very big white mountainous-rocks, you think you are swimming at an iceberg

Thanks for this video on your visit to Milos. I agree it could well be the "best" Greek Island and the sunset at Plaka to me is better than Santorini experience at Oia. Mostly due to the smaller crowds. We visited 3 years ago and the articles in travel publications were just starting to pop on Milos....I think tourism will continue to gain stream there and sort of feel lucky to have seen in prior to discovery. But would happily return...nice easy trip from Athens. Your B and B is delightul. Thanks again.
