I just realized that in this movie, both men are Mama's boy. Both men could have fight and compromise for their wife. They're about to get married and already married, their partners should already be their top and first priority. Delfin is right as a representation of fathers, they have their dreams for their daughter who should have everything they deserve. Another representation of this wedding is the 'religious' people who are imprisoned in the idea that liberation is against their beliefs and are wrong. Just because someone live differently from you doesn't mean they don't deserve to become a wife or a mother. Lastly, to everyone out there, choose your partner properly and make peace in the family you're marrying into. This doesn't just apply to women, this should also apply to men.
