    The Polo GTI is closer to spirit of the original Golf GTI. As you rightly say, the Golf has now sized up to a different class. Great video.

    Great review! Picked up my MY23 Polo GTI back in June and loving it. Definitely lots of fun....the handling, gear shifts and exhaust note give me a smile every drive! 👍👍

    I would have that red insert covered in a carbon Black wrap apart from that Volkswagen best car on the market nice car to park or motorway miles does everything you want of a daily car

    The 3 things i dislike about 2023 gti number 1 no usb player you can not play a usb stick number 2 lane assist and number 3 on off engine, other than those , its the best car i have ever had .yes every time you start up you have to disengage those .A very good review thanks, i love my GTI .

      U know it takes 2 buttons to turn off both lane assist & stop/start on the engine.

    What a hot hatch!
    Nice bit of kit mate!

    Got one of those 5 months ago, came from the previous model. Love it! driven sensible gives ave 43/47 mpg. Just noticed on this later model servicing 24 months/18600 miles. I'll stick to the year/10,000 miles. The engine at 207 bhp seems a wee bit more perky! Was a nice facelift as regards lighting steering wheel. The only complaint is the rear light clusters, the proportions,
    the sequential indicator could start with the cluster on the hatch to give a fuller sweep like the golf, but hey ho what rattles through a designers mind at VW will take a bit more puzzling out.

    How is it over speed bumps? Grocery run etc, looking at one as a 2nd car (wrx) for my wife to replace a Jazz. A car we both can be happy with.

      Take it for a test spin as it is firmish, but I've had no probs in mine as a daily driver. Good handling and good fun when you want it!

    Great car, I have the 2019 with all the trimmings. So basicly the same as the newer versions but 10K cheaper. :)
    Got the premium package + sound/visual and something else for around 30k (10,000km)

    This, a Golf, or an RS3 and id be a happy man. Sadly, I had to settle for a 2023 Kia Rio GTline for budget reasons. One day.

    Love a good hot hatch.
    If I was to buy one, it would come down to the Polo GTi or the Hyundai i30N. Very tough decision and I don’t think you could lose either way.

      how do you now compare a mere polo gti with the mighty i30n?

  • @idanceforpennies281
    @idanceforpennies281 5 месяцев назад

    The current Polo is exactly the same length as the Mk1 Golf and is wider.
