This to me was a 100% chance to show off Nico and his vocal ability. They are very proud of his ability and it gets lost/overloooked a bit in their other big songs with the crazy fun videos, the unclean vocals from Kevin and all that so this one lets him shine with a touch of the uncleans from Kevin in the background through the song but at a much lower volume than Nico's Cleans. I love this song for that reason. They have the fun ones and they have this.

Weirdly you reminded me the The Offspring existed I had listened to them in the eighties and early nineties but had as I wandered away from listening to rock and returned to my classical roots I had forgotten about them and found out that they still existed. It is an interesting song where the lyrics and the video seem to be telling different stories but that made it intriguing.

Which is weird, since the Netherlands has a very rich metal culture with lots of bands, past and present. Like Epica, Pestilence, Massive Assault, Within Temptation, etc.). There used to be a metal show on Dutch radio in my teens, but it was canceled, and since then no more metal on the radio...
The Intro alone deserves a like and subscription :D You could also try "VIP" from them. Its with their old singer and also a kind of "radio song" because its way more rock than grindcore. Really good though.

@@TankTheTech The problem with Dutch (mainstream) radio is that metal in general is completely overlooked. Which is weird, since the Netherlands has a very rich metal culture with lots of bands, past and present. Like Epica, Pestilence, Massive Assault, Within Temptation, etc.). There used to be a metal show on Dutch radio in my teens, but it was canceled, and since then no more metal on the radio...

You could also try "VIP" from them. Its with their old singer and also a kind of "radio song" because its way more rock than grindcore. Really good though.
