Mayor Gloria and Downtown Group Call for Cleaner, Safer Streets

SAN DIEGO - A coalition of Downtown residents and businesses on Monday will call for immediate actions to reduce crime, improve public safety, and enhance cleanliness in San Diego’s urban core.

I moved from SF. Anyone who lives or works in SF qualifies for free health care in SF. This includes ER and dramatically reduces the cost to taxpayers since we don't have to pay taxes for those who don't have health care but then go to the ER. Next, homelessness is SF is much worse than here but it's still an issue. Finally, the streets in SF are all paved, and potholes are very rare; It's the opposite here in SD, many streets are just atrocious! It's not acceptable.
