Esl or not, don't take wood working advice from a guy that uses saw dust and Elmer's glue as an attempt to hide shitty craftsmanship, and that doesn't even know what a chalk line is. Doing shitty work like this isn't worth the money you'd spend on materials or the time you'd waste to make a bad piece that's going to fall apart.
hi I will start a project this summer and it will be a hydrofoil and I want to know how long is the mast and how big is the front wing ????? and I will post videos on it and it will cost around 500 dollars and I am 14 years old =)
Part number on the makita sander *the dust collector piece and bag model please. what brand /type wood oil was used? where do you get your ply wood too?
No wood dowels involved. Plastic dowels go into the concrete and then wood screws go into the dowels. Thats how you hang something up in brick or concrete.
Hey Max Maker, I really appreciate your work and watches your videos. I just and only have a query about your studies and how many years have you put into the college because I have a dream, but knowing about peoples like you can give me the courage to start from 0. I was looking for your real name ;) and linkedin profile but didn't found so typing here. I will Appreciate your kind reply, Thanks.
Hey, I studied for 5 years and did a Master in Product Design Engineering. However, I think a lot of the experience that helps me every day is just from watching youtube videos of how things are made.
Yeah thats true you cannot apply a stain anymore, but with a clear finish it is almost invisible. Obviously you can just get the fit and finish perfect than you don´t need glue at all.

That is great! 500$ sounds very optimistic. All the data of my hydrofoil can be found on efoil.builders in the Max Maker thread.

Woodprix is nice for that.
Did you jam the wood dowels into the holes in the concrete wall, then screw the wood screws into the dowels?

Wood glue and saw dust, invisible until its not, apply anything on top of it, then it "magically" appears. Not a good solution.
