For me, riding a 2015 CRF250L, I love the RallZ! Zero issues with the front cupping or unpredictable traction in the dirt. The rear I got 16000km out of it before swapping to another. That was a 60/40 mix of dirt and tarmac riding. For me, these are the only tires I want to run. I did go back to the Tractionator Enduro IT last change only because the RallZ weren’t available. Happy to be on the RallZ once again 👍🏻
The "popular" choice in Alberta Canada seems to be a Dunlop D606R, with a Pirelli MT21 front, or a Kenda Trak master 2 front. I have used a few sets of the D606R\K760F. On my Honda CRF450L, I need to air down, especially in the rear, off road, for traction, to 14 psi or less. Also use Michelin UHD tubes.
They're on the list of shoes for later, for me. I've still got about 40-50% of the stock "Deathwings" on the rear. I just purchased a Heidenau k60 17 and am eager to throw it on. I also went ahead a got a full set of Shinko 244's for the the next rubber exchange. My riding is 80-20/70-30 dirt, mostly dirt roads of sand and clay. (Southern Georgia) The future 244's are for later plans on both of the East Coast BDR's. Anything out West looks like the RALLZ would be best. Love your vids. I've used the Rallz with a dual venture front last summer for a 10,000 mile trip, refreshing 3 sets total on my KTM 890R. I've recently went to a Rallz front as well for a dual sport event in the mountains and loved it off road, and even some twisty fast tarmac. I run heavy duty 3mm tubes in the front with static balancing and No-mar wheel weights. I still run the stock tubeless in the rear as I've never had a problem. Not once have I gotten a flat in rocky sections of Colorado or the California desert. It works for me a treat. I always carry a 21" tube for the front and ready6 to squeeze it in the rear if I break a bead or dent a rim... I love these tire more aggressive off-road even with long stretches of tarmac in between. But I'm more of a dirt road tourer than most...
I've found the motoz tractionator enduro S/T front tires to be excellent both on and off road. I have them as the fronts on all my bikes now. They are more aggressive than the dualventure fronts, but still hold good traction on roads. Last about 5000km on my ktm 450/525. I've read the motoz tractionator adventure rear is comparable to the rallz in the dirt but lasts alot longer due to harder compound used. The distance between the lugs on the adventure is comparable to the d606, the rallz is definitely more aggressive looking. I've just installed the rallz rear on the 500exc and the motoz adventure rear on the 450exc. Will report back on performance on dirt and wear in a few months.
@kristianperic427 just a quick update on both. Done less than 200km on both tires but just some initial observations. They are both perfectly fine in the dirt. The adventure is better than the rallz at high speed on sealed roads. I did some slightly rutted out clay based fire trails on the motoz adventure rear and it slipped a couple of times but nothing major. The rallz is defo more aggressive and so far it's hooked up well on the wet stuff. Barely any wear on either tire. Both bikes have the motoz tractionator S/T 90/100 fronts on them as well.
For the comment on bead sealing: when I've done motorcycle tubeless conversions, I've noticed that bicycle tubeless sealant is far superior at sealing the bead when compared to slime or similar.
I love the Rallz rear tire, solid performer on and off-road. The Rallz front, that is a different story, you could never trust it to hold off-road. It would just step out when you least expected it.
I've used the following dual-sport tyres: Michelin T63 (discontinued) Dunlop K850A Bridgestone TW302 IRC GP22 Maxxis M6034 Dunlop D605 The Michelin's were lethal on wet tarmac (probably due to being a much more dirt oriented tyre). The Dunlop K850A had a softer compound than all the other tyres, and therefore offered more grip on, and off-road, but wore out sooner. The rest pretty much felt the same as each other. I now just use Maxxis M6034 because they are the cheapest here in the UK. As always; 90% rider/10% tyres (or "tires" if your American).
Great video Barry! In have the RallZ on the rear of my DR and it does really well both on and off road. I have the Desert H/T fatty on the front and it tracks extremely well off road and is wearing great on the road. Haven’t tried the Dual Venture up front yet but friends have reported good results. same here on my 2022 DR. If it’s good enough for “Skids n Stuff” , it’s good enough for me. After 5k miles on MA & NE BDR, and few trails in Canada last October, and local riding, I am VERY pleased with these tires. Noise is TERRIBLE on the road and a Little sketchy in heavy rain on black top but I don’t care if tires keep my bike (and me) upright off road 😬. I Never dropped the bike during my trip (it’s an accomplishment for the newbie I am) !!! Front is cupped badly now and not much knobby left on the rear but they still behave really well (and are less noisy). Maybe I can get another 1k miles out of them ? My trip was probably 30% off road/ 70% on road. Rear tire does show some cracks at the base of some knobs though. Nothing serious (I think 🤔). I’m running tubes front and rear. Ohhh , and I never checked tire pressure during my whole 4K trip on the BDRs and Canada. I started at 25psi and finished at 14 😬 cheers from the US too ✌️
When I had my 2000 klr dirt modded I switched from the shinko 805 to the motoz tractionator and man was it a beast in the technical stuff. I now have my dr650 and am running tusk d sport tires they are wonderful especially in the dirt only complaint is they are very loud on pavement straight up and down hahs
Running the RallZ rear and Dual Venture front on a CRF250L Rally. Perfect 👌 Previous RallZ front had heavy scalloping, but this was also on the first version of that tyre. The newer version has been changed, so it might be better.
Motoz Rallz are ok. The fronts cup like mad. They are also wobbly at speed and under hard acceleration. They also wear faster than the rears if you see much road riding on them. 4000 miles seems to be the absolute max on a Tenere 700. I switched to golden Tyre gt723s and I am much more impressed on the dirt and feel like Ive lost nothing at all on the street. The front is actually more stable. Can’t report on mileage yet, but I doubt at this point that I’ll be returning to motoz unless doing a lot of road riding, in which case I’d run an adventure rear and dual venture front. 👍 Thanks for all the great videos!
I had the Motoz Tractiionater Adventure on the rear and the Dual Venture on the front of my XR650R. They were stupendous on road (quiet, confident and awesome traction) and I had no complaints in sand, mud and gravel roads where I live in Michigan, USA. But this was my first dual-sport bike, so I have nothing to compare to. I just sold the Honda for a KTM 500 EXC. It has Goldentyres on it now (with Tubliss), but I have a Rallz rear and another Dual Venture in the shopping cart with tubes to replace what's on the bike now. I'm already a fan of Motoz.
I love MotoZ tires. I have gone through a few over the years on my DRZ400. personal fav for the rear is the MotoZ Desert H/T. I bought 5 of them a few years ago cause I heard they were t be cancelled. which they have been now at least here in the USA. But have 3 left. Best rear tire I ever tried. Plows throw snow like a timbersled. what I have on the front is no longer made or imported as well, MotoZ Adventure tire. I guess for most it creates bad high speed wobbles. you just have to dial in the air pressure to eliminate that issue. can cruise at 80 mph on my DRZ400 with zero wobbles holding on with 2 fingures and go-cruise holding the speed for me. 54,000 miles of zero issues and loving my MotoZ tires.
Running MOTOZ Tractionator on a ktm690 enduro r. Just rolled over 5000 miles. Rear is about 75% warn, front about 35-40% warn. Front, minimal uneven wear. Rear good even wear. Running tubliss system. Will run these tires rest of this season and replace the rear next year. Great all around tire.
1:26 Not sure how old this vid is, as you do re-upload quite often. Here in the USA the only front tire available is the DV to match the Rallz rear, they stopped importing the other. I had assumed they quit making it but from this I take both are still available in ozzy land.

Motoz adventure fronts on my 1290 both scalloped badly and were taken off well before they were worn out due to noise and handling. Love the rears, I run a pirelli scorpion on the front now, and no issues so far.
I've run a lot of miles on front & rear RallZ. The front is meh and on my 790/890 cups pretty bad unless you're running "road" pressures (~35psi). Other options: D606, GT723, DesertHT (about to try this out). Personally I won't run the RallZ front but the rear has been the best all around tyre for me on the adv bikes. Next I'll probably try the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+.
i'm running rallz on my 790advr, and so far it's the best dualsport tyre for my kind of riding I've tried. including the front. basically I want a tyre that's as aggressive offroad as possible, while still allowing me to keep up in the twisties with street bikes.

Not sure if it's available here in New Zealand though. A month ago I bought a T7 and came with a Hidenau K76, I plan to keep that tyre until I manage to get more used to the bike. Running the GPS on the rear and DV on the front of my T7,extremely happy with both 4000km so far and the the front is still very quiet.Unfortunately it’s a little difficult getting Motoz tires in Canada therefore you’ve got to plan ahead and be patient.Thanks for the review.
I used the GPS on the back and the rallz on the front of my DR650. GPS is a little skitty on wet bitumen and so was the rallz which dip in quicker, OK in the dirt (not mud).
RallZ front and rear work very well on 890R where focus is primarily on dirt including tough single track; I also want safe and predictable on road - RallZ delivers. Biggest benefit is that I don’t have to change tyre pressures, I leave them at 35 psi everywhere. Front eventually scalloped but it didn’t affect performance in any way so, meh. I get 2-3 rears to a front.
on my klr2 I ran the front rallz too long (4000m). Wasn't a good roady for me. Have a dv now, i like it once I got used to it offroad, & a better roady too.. my rear, no complaints, & it did almost 8000m (to the wear-bars).. good stuff
Bought Tractionator Adventure last year and wanted RallZ this year but here in Poland prices skyrockted. I am looking for RallZ 150/70 B18 and it is US $250 on american ebay. So for this year I have Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ instead.
What size are you running? The 120/90-18 has a more aggressive tread than the 140/80-18 and so performance and longevity would differ a bit. I just put the 120/90-18 on the rear and the Xtreme Hybrid on the front of my 500EXC-F and after the 1st ride I was very happy with it. Predictable and feels like a good match. But I guess almost anything is better than the TKC80's. My priority is aggressive off-road riding but I would like a rear tire to last 1 riding season. On road performance was not amazing, but acceptable for my needs. Time will tell if the balance of performance and longevity is what I'm looking for, but so far so good. Not much info out there about these sizes so your videos are a good start. Thanks
Hi Barry, I have heard you speak about the front tyre not sealing with Tubliss and how slime not working 100% and have thought that mountain bike tubeless sealer may be a better option as it is a bit different to slime as it is used to stick the tyre to the bead.
Currently have the front Tractionator DV on. Did the first ride fri/sat and at speed not a lot of confidence in it. Thought, maybe pressure (20psi) or needs time to bed in? Road riding is ok-ish.
Curious how they stack up against the old D606s. I liked mine on the DR, but would love to get a bit more longevity out of the rear. I'm 50/50 dirt and road, but care more about dirt performance.
I would be interested in your thoughts of the Dualventure Front/Rallz rear as compared to the MT 21 Front/Rear for a 20-30% on road, 70-80% off road tire? Which ones do you feel would be a better combination?
Unfortunately I haven't tried the Dualventure front yet. But I love the Rallz rear, as per this vid. The MT21 will definitely be getting more traction off-road as it's a bit more aggressive, similar to the Dunlop D606. It will be cheaper too of course, but I suspect you will get three times the longevity with the Motoz.
An 18inch TL (Tube Less) Rallz rear for $190! in Australia! I want the name of your tyre dealer. I assume there is an error in your numbers on screen. OR are you are running TT (tube type tyres) with the Tubliss system, and putting up with the (alleged) slow air leakage through the carcass of a TT tyre?? Running the TRXR 120/90-18 ?? I had problems with my Tube Less DV leaking slowly around the bead- only way I could stop it was to apply Bead Sealer. It wasn't the rim/s because this was with different rims.
I have a T7 with a duel venture front which is great, a rallz rear which is good in all conditions except for wet hard pack clay it’s horrible definitely got noisier as it’s worn
I’m a rare user that’s not a fan. Way too expensive. My rear was impossible to balance. Sidewalls so stiff you want to tow a tire changing machine behind you on the trail.
They are "me-to" copies of Dunlop D606, especially the front, and it doesn't last squad shit once you hit concrete slab. Yeah they're not bad on dirt, but IMO front got nothing on Tractionator Adventure, but at least Adventure would last 10-12k miles and many peeps wore out RalZ front in 1500mi, check advrider

Dunlop Trailmax Raid front, Tractionator Adventure rear. You guys don't run 80mph on the highway like we do in the USA. Rallz don't last.

Motoz DV on front and Adventure on back for my 1200GS. They provide the sweet spot of off-road, on-road, traction and longevity for me. 🏕️😁👌🇨🇦👋

I just put the 120/90-18 on the rear and the Xtreme Hybrid on the front of my 500EXC-F and after the 1st ride I was very happy with it. Predictable and feels like a good match. But I guess almost anything is better than the TKC80's. My priority is aggressive off-road riding but I would like a rear tire to last 1 riding season. On road performance was not amazing, but acceptable for my needs. Time will tell if the balance of performance and longevity is what I'm looking for, but so far so good. Not much info out there about these sizes so your videos are a good start. Thanks
Hi Barry, I have heard you speak about the front tyre not sealing with Tubliss and how slime not working 100% and have thought that mountain bike tubeless sealer may be a better option as it is a bit different to slime as it is used to stick the tyre to the bead.
Stan's No-tubes sealant is an excellent sealant
Currently have the front Tractionator DV on. Did the first ride fri/sat and at speed not a lot of confidence in it. Thought, maybe pressure (20psi) or needs time to bed in? Road riding is ok-ish.
GT216AA fatty is my "go to" front. And the Dsport for the rear. DR650

Curious how they stack up against the old D606s.
I liked mine on the DR, but would love to get a bit more longevity out of the rear. I'm 50/50 dirt and road, but care more about dirt performance.
D606 is a better tire for half the price.
I would be interested in your thoughts of the Dualventure Front/Rallz rear as compared to the MT 21 Front/Rear for a 20-30% on road, 70-80% off road tire? Which ones do you feel would be a better combination?
Unfortunately I haven't tried the Dualventure front yet. But I love the Rallz rear, as per this vid. The MT21 will definitely be getting more traction off-road as it's a bit more aggressive, similar to the Dunlop D606. It will be cheaper too of course, but I suspect you will get three times the longevity with the Motoz.
What opinion do you have of the Bridgestone BATTLAX ADVENTURECROSS AX41 tire?

An 18inch TL (Tube Less) Rallz rear for $190! in Australia! I want the name of your tyre dealer. I assume there is an error in your numbers on screen.
OR are you are running TT (tube type tyres) with the Tubliss system, and putting up with the (alleged) slow air leakage through the carcass of a TT tyre?? Running the TRXR 120/90-18 ??
I had problems with my Tube Less DV leaking slowly around the bead- only way I could stop it was to apply Bead Sealer. It wasn't the rim/s because this was with different rims.
As per Motoz website. This was for a DR650, they get a lot more expensive for wider rims of course...

I have a T7 with a duel venture front which is great, a rallz rear which is good in all conditions except for wet hard pack clay it’s horrible definitely got noisier as it’s worn

Mountain bike tubeless tyre latex sealant works a lot better than green slime.

Ouch. That must be a wider rim? E.g. not the 2.5 inch rear of bikes like the DR650 or KTM 500EXCF?
Now compare it to the new tusk 2 tracks...im afraid motoz will need to lower their prices considerably!!

on my klr(2) I sealed the spokes & run a tubeless dv up front.. if I keep the psi above 22ish it's been fine, but I can't air down much being tubeless

I’m a rare user that’s not a fan.
Way too expensive. My rear was impossible to balance. Sidewalls so stiff you want to tow a tire changing machine behind you on the trail.
The claim of 7000 km is flawed. You didn't say or show what was the state of the tire when you removed it from the bike. What was the thred depth?
They are "me-to" copies of Dunlop D606, especially the front, and it doesn't last squad shit once you hit concrete slab.
Yeah they're not bad on dirt, but IMO front got nothing on Tractionator Adventure, but at least Adventure would last 10-12k miles and many peeps wore out RalZ front in 1500mi, check advrider
