how this channel doesn't have more than 100k subs is beyond me.
probably because of the "not so mainstream" subject!
Totally agree.
Agree!
I honestly agree it's crazy
@@mofurry8430 I really think that's the case but it shouldn't be like that. Minimalism should be mainstream!
“Just for when” kind of mentality. Yes minimalist can survive.
I have been watching your content for several months and am truly impressed by the wisdom you have and share with your viewers. Thank you and keep up the good work.
That's really kind Jason. I'm glad that it can help!
Thanks for the support!🙏
That intro is HILARIOUS 😂 You, my friend, are a beacon of joy at this moment. Thank you for adding humor to this frustrating circumstance!
It always makes me laugh when people say minimalists are gonna die first, because people act like minimalism means you gotta YEET everything you have and shop every day and never ever buy enough to last a while. Personally, I have health problems on a normal day, so I stock up on essentials for me especially when on sale that I can eat. I usually keep a couple weeks worth of basics around to minimize my trips back and forth (I have to walk a mile to get there and walking a mile back with heavy bags is tiring). This has made me even more certain that this lifestyle is important to stay on track with because I am finding there are a lot of things in my belongings that I'm not using despite being home constantly. I can be a slight prepper and also not buy too much!
I am blessed to live in the Farm to Fork capital of California and be able to access fresh produce all the time and in great variety so I know I don't need to buy a lot of that at once. Our grocery stores are well stocked and I have three nearby. They're limiting the amount of certain stuff people can buy at a time to make sure no one is hoarding but I'm still having trouble getting things like gluten free pastas and bread. I figure those items probably will take time but will eventually restock. :) I'll just make do in the mean time!
I am lucky to have delivery services for the bigger stuff I can't bring home on foot (I am unable to drive at the moment because of a car crash last year). I am so glad people are focusing on what matters and helping each other out rn. Everyone is very aware of my issues and trying to help and I hope to return the favor when this is all over. I've seen a bit of the opposite as well, but I'm choosing to ignore that. Those people are not ones I would likely communicate with in normal circumstances anyway.
I also have my toilet paper automatically delivered every 3 months because I hate having to go find it at the store usually so I just put it on my credit card and have it sent. I don't even think about it.
Thanks for the nice comment! I'm so happy that it can bring some joy to you. It means a lot to me. I love that you are grateful for little things that you're blessed with even during times like this.
I hope you are doing well, please stay safe and healthy
This pandemic ruined my last year in university, we were not able to have our graduation ceremony. It may just be a symbolic ceremony but it is a milestone in our lives. Students work really hard to graduate, likewise our parents work twice as hard to see their children graduate🙁 but I think this pandemic benefitted the fresh graduates that are anxious to look for employment, it somehow gave us the time to relax after school. Stay safe everyone!
P.S. The intro was funny😂
We worked hard to GRADUATE and receive a DEGREE not walk across the stage.
@@BlueUKLouis Well put. Greetings from
a Swiss lady pensioner.
Rah L. Yes it’s true but walking across the stage is part of it and it’s something that’s never going to come back to us as it’s a once in a life time opportunity almost to most people, that others before may have experienced and been telling us for years and we won’t be able to experience it which is why it is upsetting and not to mention the difficulty of trying to get through this semester with little to no support and on top of that this. Whoever is graduating has a valid reason to be upset. So there’s no need to be that way with your comment if your not gonna understand how others would feel.
The exact same thing is how I felt. I was lucky enough that my university is just going to delay the graduation until August but I know the feeling and that sucks.
@@Fatima-ie6oj Getting a degree and
having a graduation is fine.
But what if graduates cannot
find jobs. Especially with the
Covid19 crisis. I guess you are
all in USA. Look at how many
have lost their jobs because of
this - it is awful.
Wow! This post gave me a lot of inspiration for my own channel. You're like the less known Matt D'Avella. The b-roll was top quality and I loved this video! Definitely going to draw from it for my own work.
Appreciate the nice words, thanks Demetri! 🙏
I'm pretty sure you can do it too.
honestly 1,000 times better than matt
Christian McDonald hey to each is their own. I’m tryna make quality that good lol
The minimalism is a tool that helped me to save more money and be prepared for this time. Also we can minimaze the info that we receive is too much, just necessary it's ok.
Well said Jane!
As a fellow introvert, love having all this time to myself although I dearly miss a few of my co-workers. As to the TP issue, it’s really not a necessity in the same category as food and water. It’s a convenience. If you have access to some sort of soft material/fabric and hot water, you’re fine (or at least I am, if need be).
Well, I still have my cats meals packages in the basement. When the time has come, I hope they will be willing to share.....
this cannel is actually very very positive ,kind of Buddist we cant change what is happening around us but we can behave with self disipline and not over indulge in the net to releive boredom ,and dont but lots of stuff which other people need ,like T Paper etc watching this today was a relevation seriuosly
"Adult pacifier" LOL! So true. Excellent minimalist tips here. Much appreciated. One minimalist-related idea that's helped me a lot is preplanning for shopping, so I'm really only getting things I need and not taking things I don't really need and likely won't use -- but others could use them.
Always appreciate your support Meredith! Thanks for the nice comment too!
Well said. Your video is calming and should be a public service announcement shown everyday. Minimalism is showing me I have enough, and gives back otherwise wasted time in my life.
Thanks for the message here. The timing is uncanny because I had a rough week last week, where I was really submerged in staying up to date and trying to be informed "just in case" I needed to prepared for anything. Now I limit my consumption of news to every 2-3 days, instead of 2-3 times a day. There are so many other areas to focus on, such as ourselves, those we care about and of course practicing kindness to others!
Stay safe brother!
I'm glad that this can help Amir!
Stay safe too bro.
Minimalism helped me
1. save money every month so I worry less about my job future
2. know what I really need, what brings me joy, and what I do not want in my life
3. I know who I am and how to spent quality time at home alone
4. I created a "to do" list and a "me time" list, so I don't waste my lifetime, get bored or go crazy in times of isolation. In case of emergency, I call a friend
5. years ago I've stocked durable resources to survive a month: water, noodles, rice, toilet paper 😏 just things that won't be thrown away, I use up and rebuy them constantly (my cheap apartment is bigger than I need)
6. I still have books and games that would last for two years, now I can "use them up" then I sell or donate them in my minimalism journey
So... 7. I can stay calm, do my best and enjoy the quarantine 😊
"Love it, change it or leave it"
Just discovered your channel 2 days ago.. 😊😊😊 hi from the Philippines
Thanks Jack, i'm happy that it reached you!🙏
Being minimalist, is a big help now especially during economic preasure. All you need is food. Needs Vs wants.
Minimalism means that when I felt the urge to join in and get swept away by all of the panic buying insyead of going shopping I examined the impulse instead and worked on that rather than on "stocking up".
I am grateful to have enough and to be secure enough to help others during this time.
During a pandemic having a different concept of "essential" as a minimalist makes already a huge difference
You are wise beyond your years.
Thanks for the kind words Tiffany!

Thank you for this great video. Following your minimalism ideas have really helped me in many ways. And your new look is on point. ☺️
I'm glad that it can resonate with you.
Thanks for the nice words Ajay! 🙏
Stay safe!
Thanks for the good video, like always. 🌟👍☀️
Thank you. 🙏 I needed this today.
Appreciate it, Amy! Glad that it helps!
I appreciate your humor! It was interesting to see how things are in the shops where you are. And I agree with your thoughts about buying enough of what you know you will need vs panic buying and overbuying. I heard about a toilet paper panic in the USA in the 70s - it was all a rumor, misreported, but it created a real panic and shortage, just because everyone thought “well I better buy some extra, don’t want to run out”. Humans can be dumb sometimes. Stay well!
Love what this channel has become. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom sir
Thanks for the support, i'm glad that this can help!
The intro was priceless.

Awesome content, going to share your videos out.
Always watching your videos!
Thank you for your video
I especially like the thought that being an introvert in this time of social distancing can be seen as a skill. Your calm manner is a pleasure and I am now subscribed to your channel! I look forward to your next video
You’re hilarious 😂. That intro.
Thank you for all this vibes, just susbcribed a few weeks ago. Really thank you for your content and sharing your thoughts
You use a lot of terms as do most minimalists. Do you think all of these terms and rules are cluttering up what minimalism really is? You have really helped me in my journey through minimalism but I was just wondering your thoughts on this since I often find my mind cluttered with them as my mind used to be.
Thanks for the comment Garrettt.
Just like how minimalism is not a one-size-fits-all lifestyle, I see these rules and terms merely just as a guideline, a training wheels for others to understand better. But if they do nothing more than clutter your mind, you can always keep it simple and live it your way. Like what they always say minimalism is different for everyone.
I hope this can help you out!
CKSPACE thank you for responding!! This response definitely clears it up but with everything going on and studies being cancelled all year I have time to become more of a minimalist. I hope you continue to come out with videos so I can follow even more! Stay clean and healthy.
You can only bathroom so many times a day... your rectum is minimalist by nature...
Wash hands... walk to park... fruits & veggies are still plentiful... What's so dramatically changed if you are minimalist???
Always wise for someone so young... always await your entries
Well said! Thanks for the comment!
Awesome video
Great video 👍
You two were so wide apart 🤣👍🏻
😁
I feel like a lot of boomers need to watch this video with their obsession to stockpile and hoard stuff(I'm talking bout those hoarding for the sake of it and not those that truly needs it). I will really teach them a thing or two
sorry for spelling mistakes
i’m digging the mustache. very sexy.
Please ...subtitulos en español
I am doing my masters not just because I love what I am studying but I want to experience my last year of my student experience. Because of this epidemic I am missing it. I am trying to adjust to this epidemic (uncertainty) by learning new things, making my research better....and one more important thing: please no mustache.
Pei pa koa yeahhhhh
Hi, what gears (camera & lenses) you use for your videos and images?
Next week?!
your insta link is broken!
Mustache gives you a 1930s Playboy look. Are you running with a wild crowd?
If you were a white woman you would have 100,000 subscribers at this point, given how many people watch you videos. You have great content.
Thanks for the support, will continue to work on more videos!
