@@whalence thanks ( and thanks for the email ) I think this was the best 48 hours with a camera I've ever had . I'm heading back to this location in a couple of weeks time for the full moon.
Stunning images! The shot at 1:54 has to be one of the most beautiful images I have ever seen. Seriously, (and I started in photography over 40 years ago). Amazing images all throughout. Cheers!
Lovely images Austen and so impressed with the long night exposures as well. I also have a Chamonix 4x5 but paired with a Rolleiflex 2.8f so not the same flexibility with lenses but love the camera and it's focal length challenges. Hope you can go back, that's an awesome location.
Thanks Yes I prefer that second image too . It was a special trip that I wont forget , have look at my more recent large format at night vid , that's quite interesting !
Nice Video Austen, I myself like to take pictures with large format and also with the hasselblad, which broke at the beginning of the year due to a fall. I was finally able to order a new one and can start again soon. your video inspires me to find beautiful shots with the hasselblad again. thank you and wish you good light at all times. ✌️
Hi, I have a 500 cm only on my second roll so still learning as I go .. I’m so in love with this camera it’s just so beautiful… I really want to do a night shoot and was wondering how you do such long exposures ? Obviously you’re not holding your cable release for those times .. I’m guessing you’re using the self timer ? Love your photos they are beautiful… keep on shooting on. Peace ✌️ Tommy.
What a pleasure to look at these beautiful photos. Thank you.
Thankyou !
I so admire these photos and appreciate this video. Thx Austen

So far I've never taken a night shot that didn't give me a pleasant surprise whereas if I shoot in daytime I often have disappointments
I impressed by places you photographing - it so beautyful. And you take great images! Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks!

Wonderful images once again. Love the lone tree with the cloud bank coming in.

@@AustenGoldsmithPhotography yes, they would make great prints.
Lovely images. Of the first ones I rather like the ones without the torch painting the tree

Great locations. I’m a lf/hassy shooter and big red filter fan, so this ticked all my boxes. Great stuff!
Thanks all it takes is a few nice comments to make all the work worthwhile
Amazing shots
Thanks . That's just what I needed to read as I sit here for 8 hours in my van waiting for the light !
Great stuff. I'd have the image at 6:10 on my wall. Very photogenic part of the world.
Thanks . I'm sure a photo from this day will end up on my wall , I am looking into buying a 4x5 enlarger sometime soon hopefully
Great
Thanks!
