The Danish spokesperson of the police called them "child soldiers" - teenagers from Sweden who are recruited to commit crimes in Denmark, and they're starting to become an epidemic. There have been over two dozen of such reports in the period from April-August 2024, but the frequency is increasing. What caused the gang violence in Sweden to spill over into Denmark?

The problem in Sweden isn't the immigrants that's don't want to get integrerad.
It's children that become criminals, they don't see any future, has no dreams to get a good educated or job. If you are born or moved to sweden in young ages the school or daycare would have integrated them. That's what failed.
30 years ago you could have bad grade but still achieved in school, get a education and a good job.
Now you can't get into next school because of the school laws.
If you have bad grade in Swedish you can't even become a car mechanic like you could 30 years ago. A 13 years old child with bad grade and no support gives up, see no future, joining the gangs is the only job they can dream of.

@@henrikl4244 I've worked with immigrant collegues that haven't gone to school at all basically. It isn't an issue if you actually try, which most of these have never done. They want a criminal career because it's cool. Only losers and suedis work in factories, at mcdonalds etc. There's nothing cool about those jobs and they won't make you rich. There's also nothing wrong with requiring assimilation. Nigeria has 32 main ethnic groups, of which 31 self segregate and the one smaller ethnicity that "only" segregates at 50%, chose to assimilate into a much larger ethnic group. None of those 32 ethnicities are racist or xenophobic, they just value their culture and want to preserve it. Why can't Europeans do the same?
South Africa is 99.5% racially(Black, Coloured, White, Indian) segregated to an extent, with non-dominant areas making only 0.5%. Are all those people racists? Because even when it comes to migrants from Zimbabwe, that share the same race as the majority SA Blacks, most Blacks in SA reject them. In this case it's just an economic issue.

Every single time a channel or media outlet wants to touch on this subject, there's always an emphasis on "poor integration" which is such BS because integration is a 2-way street and native Swedes (or Danes) are not to blame for immigrant violence. This is (clearly and identified as) organised crime, committed by people who have no interest in being Swedish or Danish. There are plenty of western immigrants who integrate just fine, because they choose to and don't have underlying motives (and notice how they account for little to none of the criminal activity), so "poor integration" is just a lazy way of side-stepping the uncomfortable truth.
When other countries have managed it a lot better, what is the issue then? It's not BS, if you take in 100000 immigrants and have enough resources to integrate 10000 of them, what do you think will happen? Of course it's a two-way street, but many immigrants want to integrate into the societies, but can't. I've even seen it myself, a doctor from Morocco had people after his family, but Morocco wasn't a country we took in people from on asylum, so he couldn't get help and be integrated here, and he couldn't be sent home due to the danger to him and his family. He couldn't get a licence to practice as a doctor here either, because he was technically illegal. It's not the only case, but this wasn't due to lack of resources for integration, but many cases are. You can't take in loads of young people and require them to speak Swedish to work and then not teach them Swedish.

I was recently in Denmark and it was a great experience: very polite and educated people who treated me always the best way possible. And the country's vibe is awesome! I am a Turkish electrical and electronic engineer living in Sweden. Before coming here, I waited for almost 6 months for the migration process. However, it is very disheartening that skilled workers like us go through these processes, while the country accepts 163,000 refugees in a year without any checks, which can undoubtedly alter the demographic structure.
As a result, I came to Sweden and work here as an engineer. I pay my taxes, cover my rent, and spend my earned salary back in this country.
I love and respect the Swedish people, their culture, and rules. It's essential to acknowledge and respect them!
However, opening their doors to all countries at the time is one of the reasons for the current crime rates and economic issues...

Do you think the parents of these kids, who actually grew up in "primitive cultures", want this outcome for their children? As someone from an immigrant background, who is born and raised in a specific European nation the answer is a resounding no.
For some of these first generation children, their parents weren't able to aid them in the same way an indigenous parent could/does. They were trying to navigate and figure out their new country. In this process, many children are left in this liminal space between parents who don't understand their offspring's experiences as first borns in a new land, and the natives who refuse to accept them.
A lot of people just repeat the same phrases over and over in these comment sections.
One being , "they never wanted to intergrate" or something along those lines.
But how many of you have actually tried to reach out to these people? Help them with the language, invite them over for dinner parties and create lasting bonds?

I’m 46 and just old enough to remember what it was like before, it was wonderful, airport security was so laid back, people were safe and it was a lot more friendly. Now it is so poverty struck, crime and filth everywhere, its a nightmare.
There are a few mechanisms at play here (I'm Norwegian with Swedish family ties, so I know Swedes quite well). In Sweden's case, it has been at peace for 200+ years. Sweden has never been conquered or occupied, they dont even have a real national day. No Swede living today has ever had to fight for Sweden, or even know of anyone who has. Swedes took Sweden for granted.
Combine this with a world view that the Swedish society was the best in the world, with an exceptional trust in authorities, and you have a recipe for disaster.
When immigrants started flocking to Sweden, they thought that they needed to help these poor people. And that as soon as people from other parts of the world arrive in Sweden, they will realize how good the Swedish system is, and align their culture and values with the Swedish ones automatically. The government would keep up this perceived goodness for as long as they could, and any critics were subdued as racists or nazis.
They should have course corrected 20 years ago, but they kept on going, until the issues could no longer be swept under the carpet. Now there is a new government in place, and Swedes will now align behind that, in order to fix the issues their culture caused.

As someone who spent a year in Sweden (Erasmus) and has some friends who stayed there.
I would like to share my thoughts about Sweden 2010.
1. In my dorm, 30% of the "students" were (mostly) from Pakistan. I write in quotation marks because they were guys in their 30s. When I talked to them about it, they said that they were "extending" their studies as long as possible to be able to apply for citizenship before they finish their studies, then they would bring their entire family to Sweden.
It was unthinkable to me that Sweden would allow such a thing.
And despite everything - this concerned those who LEGALLY came to this country and, at least theoretically, had the means to support themselves.
2. Swedes have never tried to assimilate immigrants, especially those of the Islamic faith.
Of course, the Swedes were polite and open, but you could always notice their distance and it is rather the norm that Swedes stick with Swedes, and "others" with "others". Most Poles who had lived (at that time) for 10-20 years in Sweden were unable to name even a single Swedish friend.
And what has happened and is happening since 2015 shows how naive the view of the left is.
I will add that this year my last friend finally returned from Sweden to Poland. Despite the lower salary, he chose peace and security for his family.
And I guess at this point no one can deny that the path chosen by Poland turned out to be much better for its citizens.

Swedes are just like that - it does take years to know them and I have very good friends (as a foreigner). That's just how it is here. There is no discrimination or harassment of Pakistanis or others, they are just left alone to do their thing, which may well feel *to them* like they are being ignored - but we ALL go through that, for years. Yet the offers of education and a good life run by the state here are incredible - yet as a foreigner it takes a long time to find just what is available as people don't spread knowledge they take for granted. But there is no excuse at all for poor behaviour here - every facility and possibility for an excellent life is on offer.
The Swedish tradition is risk aversity and suspicion of anything new. There are however groups of people going out of their way to look after non Europeans AND they (the no European newcomers) factually get automatic benefits that Europeans do not get when arriving, such as being PAID to attend Swedish language schools plus transport costs, whether they have a job or not. We're not. But as a foreigner I myself left the class because of massive and continual disruption by non Europeans - that was over 30 years ago, now it is far worse and so many Europeans (and Thais, Chinese, Tibetans and others) leave the classes as time is wasted by the morons who are almost all members of a certain cult we are not allowed to mention or criticise, and/or North/East Africans. It's just an observation of fact, no wish to cause trouble to anyone, quite the opposite - if we talk about it we can deal with it and make life better for all concerned. If we don't talk about it we are going to sink into far more societal problems. What successive governments are doing is 'kicking the can down the road' across Europe, not wishing to deal with a problem they created, because it could get nasty, sadly, if not done carefully.
Swedes are notoriously anti-social. That's amongst Swedes as well. I'm a Swede who lived outside Sweden for 8 years and to be completely honest, Swedes is a weird bunch socially. It's not really a Swedish vs immigrant thing, it's that Swedes are amongst the most anti-social people on the planet. I have a much easier time making friends with immigrants than Swedes in Sweden and I'm a Swede myself.

You are right. Discrimination used to be and arguably still is a scientific term and means to discern/distinguish/differentiate. Imagine yourself in a different continent, with and without travel companion(s). If you travel alone, you are “forced” to interact more with the locals, but if you travel with just 1 more person you have a tendency to isolate most of your interactions with your companion(s).
So, in order to successfully integrate immigrants we need to dramatically reduce their numbers and scatter them all over.
Everything else has failed.

Here are some things that Denmark has implemented over the last 10 years or so, to combat these exact problems:
The 'Gang Law', which gives higher criminal punishments if your crime is related to gangs. It also allows us to outlaw any group that is deemed a "gang".
The Ghetto Law, which is a law that if a certain area fulfils a certain set of different criteria, the government will demolish it and relocate people.
Special Zones, which are temporary zones that the police can set up, which allows the police to search anyone without needing specific reasons, and all punishments are doubled, including things going from Fines to Jail time.
We also have new laws regarding foreign partners. For instance, the Danish citizen needs to have a certain set of bare minimum money, not be dependent on social welfare, and needs to be able to pass a basic Danish grammar test.
Foreigners are not entitled to Danish welfare, until they've been paying taxes for, I believe, 3 years.
We also implemented a law that means you have to shake the hand of a government official when getting your Danish citizenship - and that government official just always happens to be a woman. Why? Because Muslim extremists refuse to shake the hands of women.
Going further back, we also implemented laws such as the "23-year-old-rule", which means that your marriage partner from a foreign country is under 23, you cannot bring them to Denmark. This is because we saw a spike in very young brides from the middle east being brought to Denmark.
And more.
Just a month or so ago, we set up more border controls on people coming from Sweden to Denmark. But the problem is that the kids going here from Sweden have every right to do so, and usually don't carry anything illegal on them. They are given the weapons on arrival in Denmark, so they're difficult to catch.
Another major issue we have, is that according to Human Rights laws, you cannot send a refugee back to a country in which that person will be unlawfully persecuted. That means that even if a refugee is convicted of rape or murder, we cannot expel them from the country. We have to, by international law, let them stay. We also can't send people back to countries with which we have no official diplomatic connection.
Because of this, we've tentatively discussed setting up refugee camps in other countries, such as African countries, with Denmark paying. Why? Because it suddenly means that people won't seek refugee status unless they are actually fleeing something horrible.
It sucks that we have to be this way, no one really wants it to have to be this way, but a lot of people in Denmark saw these problems coming (and long before Sweden did). As the Swedish politician said, in these areas, Sweden is 10 to 15 years behind Denmark. I should also add that this isn't a problem of "non-western immigrants". This is specifically a problem with immigrants from roughly 7 countries. We have no issues with, just as an example, Japanese or Filipino immigrants. It is specifically issues with immigrants from the Muslim-dominant middle-eastern and African countries. Hell, even Eastern European countries, which are known for being rather conservative and, at times, rather crime heavy, integrate fairly well and fairly easy. Just as an example, we received a ton of Ukrainian refugees, and there have been essentially zero problems with.
I'm also a dane. The problem with some of these rules. If a native Danish citizen, fall in love with a person outside EU. iIt doesn't matter If its a person from the US, Philippines, Vietnam, China Australia, Thailand, Malaysia.
They are put undet the same strict rules. Even we all know, who it is that makes the trouble.
Mostly immigrants from the Middle East and northern Africa. That's very unfair. I'm in the same dilemma with a foreign woman. Because of this mass immigration from Muslim countries, is now difficult to find a partner outside EU.
They should make rules according to the visa country category. Citizens from countries with no visa requirements, should be able apply for permits way easier, than citizens with high visa requirements. That way it will be way fair

And no Visa Requirements is not a great way to make it more fair. The Visa requirements are there mostly because people from very poor countries would travel in on a free visa, and then not leave, and stay, instead of traveling a long route, and sneak into the country. The Visa requirements are not there to make it easier for people to integrate into our countries. It doesn't make it fair, it doesn't make it better, or anything. You also end up with the MAJOR! issue that the more exceptions to rules you have, the more holes those rules will have. Suddenly someone will mention a new "unfair" exception... "Oh, but my new girlfriend's sister, who took care of my wife most of her life, can't come to Denmark, she should also have a fast track".
Also, if it was easier to get permits and citizenships because of "love", you'll simply see people abusing the hell out of the system as well.

Denmark's integration laws have been criticized in many places in Europe. I remember how, as a Dane, I was verbally assaulted in the Netherlands because of the Danish integration laws, which I myself was critical of. Now those who criticized Danish politics are beginning to imitate simply because it has been understood that some cultures understand policy of consequence better than sweet words. In fact, Denmark was one of the few countries that understood the serious problem that existed in many immigrant groups. Many immigrants wanted to be good citizens and live more freely than they could in the countries they originally came from. But they were bullied by their own. They were nicknamed by their old countrymen such as cream buns, black on the outside and white on the inside. It wasn't the Danes who called them that. It was not the Danes who persecuted them or shamed them because they did not behave Muslim enough. So the laws separated the bullies from those who wanted to be good citizens in Denmark. The Danes do not care that they are Muslims, but the Danes do not want any Muslims to tell how everyone else should live, their lives.
My claim is that the Swedish politicians did not care about the immigrants. They did not look into the problems, but tried to pay off the problems, instead of doing something about it. They ignored the immigrants who wanted to live as good citizens but were oppressed by their neighbors. They ignored the good ones and tried to solve the problems by being too kind to the wrong ones.
Finally, I would like to point out that all the Danish laws concern all people in Denmark. There are no laws that only concern certain groups.

Sweden's immigration population has breached 15-20% population mark. It has moved passed point of no-return since the difference in the fertility rates between native population and immigration will continue to cummulate and tilt the balance to one side. No matter which government is elected, its matter of 15 years when Sweden will largely be non-White and no longer the SWEDEN.

This is one of the best videos I´ve seen explaining this issue/topic. I don't like quite a few things about my PM here in Denmark but one thing I can't love enough is her harsh but necessary take on mass immigration.
The way in which for example those two swedish gangs get supplied by leaders living abroad in the middle east to perform attacks on swedish soil is something i find wild being hidden in mainstream media. There are a basic factor overlooked:
If you look into the start of this shooting epidemic in Sweden and try to understand it you need to first look at the police and justice system.
What happens when the justice fails solving murders in some geographical areas? What happens when people get away with murder.
On top of all things mentioned in this video the basic fact that Swedish law enforcement didn’t have the capacity, resources or will to solve murders committed by immigrants seems to be the catalyst of this local phenomenon.
Plus years and years of denial from officials and no statistics about the breakdown of ethnicity and crime rates because it was ‘ufint’ to say these things aloud. Denmark has long ceased to be so sensitive, as in Denmark we call a spade a spade. Crime stats showed clear differences between crime rates and ethnic origin, even when correcting for socio-demographic factors, the most criminal group being Lebanese followed by Iraqis. Funny enough, people from countries like China, Thailand, the Philippines, or Japan are less criminal than the Danes. But yeah, it has absolutely nothing to do with culture, sure.
Blame the "system" instead of those people that do the crime!!
