That’s if they’re below 16, so they’re literally children that can’t really grasp what the consequences of such a violent act are because they’ve been groomed into that, if they’re 16-17 they’ll get charged as an adult and being in a gang would give you extra time(I can’t remember if this “gang=more time” was in Sweden or Denmark)

"normal" murders usually gets solved. The ones were someone kills his ex girlfriend, beats someone he knows to death etc etc. Those kinds of murders are in decline as well.
But gang murders carried out in immigrant areas will usually not have anyone who want to testify (which is reasonable, they can end up dead), and no one involved in the conflict will talk to the police. The DA can't negotiate with criminals regarding punishment either, so the state can't offer any insscentive to rat.
Swedish institutions were built to handle an extremely homogen nation state with strong cultural checks on behaviour. They were not built to handle american style multi culturalism with visble racial minorities that gets segregated and adopt different value systems from the rest of society.

Fortunately, I think this is going in the right direction, following the decrease of immigration it will probably become more diluted in the long run due to simple diffusion. This is especially the case if we work actively against segregation, which is not impossible
The problem is that the toxic immigrant subculture can suck up new working immigrants, or harshen the policies so much they dampen this important immigration. This working-class immigration is extremely important due to the failing fertility rates

Swedes in Spain, or thailand always gather in their community's, lets say 70-80%. Rest want to try something new, and do not hang out with thier own, it's very difficult by human rights to forcibly move people away from eachother. Though you could and I think its good, that people might have to live and get help in the beginning in a certain area of Sweden, They cannot choose their living area when they are seeking asylum as an ex. And we swedes need to be more welcoming as well, the last 15 years I seen, it come back again the situaion that we had ALOT of in the 90is, people not wanting any immigrant to live in thier "swedish area", how in the hell are they then able to integrqate. Its impossible to integrate without the general population helping them to. IT's always been serious! always.

There's a big difference in the Netherlands between the morrocan guetos (product of bad immigration management decades ago) and the more recent syrian refugees, much better integrated . The difference is that the later were provided tools like language learning, professional education and well distributed housing. The Moroccans didn't have that, so generations of them are growing in guettos that feel alienated from the rest of the poblation

This can include learning their language, appreciating and observing their culture, being able to mix with the people of that country, respecting their laws and most importantly proving oneself useful to the country (like doing a good job that country can appreciate).
If you cannot respect the country which welcomes you with open arms and gives you citizenship or PR, then you should not be their in the first place and chose your own home country or the 200 other countries available on Earth, if doing simple things like this is so hard for you.

Yes, sadly nowadays, this sentiment is twisted in countries like France, Switzerland or Belgium to site a few, they twisted it into something like assimilation=abandonning your own culture, when in reality it doesn't have to be but sadly more and more laws are being implemented against other people's cultures and religious rights (Like the abaya ban for example in France which litteraly forces young girls to take off some of their clothes and uncover parts of their bodies they don't want to show, just to be accepted at school) which also hurt legal immigrants and even actual French people who chose to become Muslims.
Your view is great but sadly governement always take it to the extreme or even use this issue as political stunts to get themselves elected.

Here in Italy we have been dealing with the Mafia from time immemorial, and they too like to use minors to commit crimes and homicides. But let me tell you that longer sentences did not help in stopping or limiting organized crime. Gangs and such don't send minors to commit crimes just because they get shorter sentences, but also because it's a form of initiation in the gang and to not get senior members directly involved. What the Swedish government should do is focus on fighting the gangs as organizations rather than focusing on their individual members, like being arrestable simply for being linked to organized crime even if there isn't any direct link to some concrete crime, or protecting and rewarding gang members that turn against their own gang in favor of the law.
The last exemple helped us Italians in weakening and even destroying some mafia groups, and even if the Mafia problem today is far from solved and some groups are still powerful, organized crime as a whole is less violent than the past.
This is only one side of an issue that obviously requires and multilateral approach, but on regards of legal rulings and law I believe that these options would be better to fight sweeds criminal gangs.

I don't know, I'm not so sure that Italy has been so successful in fighting the Mafia, it could be, on the contrary, that there are implicit agreements whereby if the Mafia avoids showing too much violence then the law is willing to close a watch out, or the mafia has changed its modus operandi to be less attackable, this would also explain why the 'Ndrangheta is the most powerful organisation, precisely because it avoids the type of violent crime that instead characterizes the Camorra or Cosa Nostra.

If you import citizens from societies that fail them as much as european societies failed their citizens centuries ago, import at statistically significant numbers without selective criteria, and even allow them to self-marginalize in communities with their own internal paralegal power structures and own application of laws and customs (most notably on domestic violence), you're importing problems for the educational, justice and social care systems to solve in the next generations, systems that can be overloaded.

The number of crimes per immigrant who lives in Finland is almost eight times as high as that of native Finns when looking at rape related crimes. It was also stated that the immigrants originating from Africa and Middle East commit the highest levels of crimes, with the level being seventeen times as high as that of native Finns. The "special employment programs to integrate migrants" have not been widespread and mostly symbolic; the average time for a refugee to enter the labour market is somewhere around 7-9 years, due to strong unions causing the barriers to enter very high.
Allow any refugee to work outside of the unions collective agreements while maintaining their benefits (as long as the salary is below some certain limit) and the time to enter the labour market would drastically reduce, and gangs would lose a large pool of potential recruits.

HOWEVER, just like in the US and Latin America, there are certain areas that are unsafe because they are effectively outside the control of the Swedish government. Meaning that they are like tiny countries within Sweden, ruled by warlords. Police, ambulances and firefighters refuse to enter those areas, so the local inhabitants there are left to fend for themselves. The people living there are sometimes forced to pay "taxes" (=extortion) to the local rulers.
But as long as you avoid those areas, you can have a fantastic time in Sweden. Beautiful sceneries and most Swedes are also beautiful, well-mannered and highly educated. Sweden is a technologically advanced country with a lot of creativity and innovation going on.

In general, I lean pretty firmly to the left on domestic/economic issues. I do strongly agree that a lot of crime/social issues stem from poverty, unemployment & a lack of social support that the gov't should massively step up its efforts to address. But at the same time, I also think it's valuable to expand the police, give them more resources to do their jobs & crack down harder on really extreme offenses (though I'm not sure I'd go as far as the Right-wing coalition).
Ultimately, the core concerns of both factions here are key sides of the issue to address. Here's to the hope that the Left & Right gov'ts to come can build on that foundation over time without undermining each other's work too much.

Also Swede here, one thing that has also been an issue is the low punishments for these crimes. As an example in August, a 46 year old man got his sentence for r*pe against a minor lowered from 8 years to 4,5 years in prison. In 2020 a man got prison time for 6 r*pes of adults and got 5 years in prison. And in 2020 as well a man in his twenties lowered his prison time from 12years to 4years, for his 49 of r*pe and 153 cases of serious sexual assault, against a 1year old. That’s not even all he was charged for, and if you take all his crimes, he got 1week in prison for each of his r*apes. That’s how how the justice system is in Sweden
