I live in the USA 🇺🇸 where they have even much more varieties... most of the stuff displayed here apart from fish ,fruit & vegetables are cheap here even if I mistakenly buy them I put them in the trash...people here don’t eat them that much .Nigerians should try & patronize their local food they are the best
Most Nigerians eat local food more than anything. These stores are targeted at foreigners who live in Victoria Island and a few Nigerians who might want to buy one or two things.
I agree, food from the EU or UK is better than US which is full of high fructose corn syrup. Nigerian local food would be healthier by far... As they say in my country... by local.
Most of those r junk food that i will never buy here in America. Our foods in Nigeria r the best because there r organically farmed or produced. When i visit Nigeria i will eat our foods.
I just love the way u are showcasing Nigeria to the world 🌎 every thing in the supermarket are so fresh Absolutely everything from other parts of the world can be found in Nigeria 🇳🇬!!
Don't know if this is a good showcase of nigeria though.Even in America l bet you'll try a bit harder to find British stuff in their supermarket....But nigeria glory in importing everything yet people complain of unemployment.
Chai Sisi Yemmie I feel like grabbing those fresh fruits and veggies. wow this is simply amazing 🥰 oh baba God upgrade us to be shopping in this kind of place all the time🙏
I love your videos, I watch it at my less busy time at work, you are also funny, you are unique. I used your moi-moi recipe it worked perfectly. I could see oyibo people food that are right where I am. Fly higher, you are going to the global mountain top of honor.God bless u
They have a lot of France 🇫🇷 and germany 🇩🇪 products like the bread , chesse which we call fromages 🧀 is from France 🇫🇷 like baby milk is from germany 🇩🇪 lots of French items and they are expensive here in France 🇫🇷 but good products
I have drank kombucha alot , the brand is called SYNERGY raw kombucha and HUMN. they have several varieties. It is absolutely delicious. It's has no alcohol but does have a bit of fermented taste. A lovely drink after a workout for energy and a good healthy replacement for soda.
Cant help but comment.. wow.. this is lovely&international standard.. we have a store called Delhaize here in Europe. If only our leader can just do right.. Keep up the good work Sisi Yemi.
Oh my that is so nice if my hubby enters Nigeria I bet that is the super market he will be going too my hubby love junk and some are American stuff that good proud of my country Nigeria ❤️❤️❤️❤️and thanks for the video
Great variety of life giving foods. 1000 thumbs up for the shop and 1000 thumbs up for Sisi for showing us this wonderful shop. Nigetia is a blessed Nation. 😇👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Konbucha is a healthy sparkling drink fermented with kefir. There are two types: one for fermenting milk and one for making the sparkling drinks. They loaded with healthy prebiotic. I make mine at home instead of the store bought ones.
While I believe it is important to patronize the local economy, I do enjoy variety and having choices. As such, I buy products that are produced in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean on occasion. What an amazing store.
Lovely video Sisi. Delis is not new o. I paid 6k for a bunch of Cavendish bananas there 4 years ago. They have lovely stuff but their items are super pricey.
Kombucha is just fermented tea with a hint of alcohol. They say is good for our gut. The first time I tasted it, it was so horrible but I later got used to it. The one with lemon or Ginger or both are my favorites. If you love palm wine, you might like Kombucha. Thanks for this video.
Interesting! But Sissie Yemmie I am more worried about our own products on the Continent never growing into major value chain to grow our economies and for us to be proud off, when supermarkets are open like this on the Continent. The people are not helping, who allow this. These should be just specialty shelfed in an African distributing line super market. That's what is done by all these major Grocery Chains abroad to our products. They put so much restrictions even with our huge presence abroad. Hence African Grocery Store have opened aboard with our products. I am never proud of African Governments allowing the Europeans the Aians this access to the African Market. I wanted to write more, but why push other eating acquired, ( not you) food on us Africans. What you husband said is so true. Its real dead money! We as Africans do not benefit when the value chain ends here. Reaping us all the way from our pockets to our mentality.
Exactly and here you see plp drooling over poison just because it's from the west, Africans sense of aspirations via to try their hardest to mimick the white man and its not getting any better with this generations either, what stops Nigerians from building new modern supermarkets purely for local produces, washed, packed and priced ( fresh fish, meat chicken) refrigerated etc , mental slavery is still on I taya
Kombucha is great, I like it, there’s different kinds, pineapple, elderberry etc. it’s a sweet sour taste. Get from reds and green in lekki for 1k a bottle. Made my HappyGrubido. Thank me later.
I'm seeing my chocolate from Morrisons over there, Morrisons and Asda has been hijacked to Nigeria. Just look at my favourite pink box sweets up there. Lindt Lindor.(pink box)
My dear please make sure of the expiring dates. Some of those items are in Canada and the expiring dates are very important. There was a lot of shipping cargos that got stuck in the sea few weeks ago is one reason and the Covid-19 has made a lot of companies to start selling off their supplies.
I saw zucchini...its a very good vegetable...not so cheap here but very affordable. And most items there are actually in cents or few euros here. Always enjoy your videos since time immemorial but hardly comment though
One needs to be very careful in stores like this so as not to buy expired products since food production and sales are not properly regulated in Nigeria. Expired dates and other information have been ripped off that scallops packaging. Things like this would not even be on the shelf for sale in western country e.g UK, especially seafood product where you can easily get food poisoning.
Literally everything this place sells is western junk food. Let’s call it exactly what it is. Their packaging is beautiful and attractive to tempt you to buy the junk. I hope they keep the price high so smart ppl don’t spend their hard earned money on this sugary junk food. Also, please chk expiration dates. Something also tells me that this is where they ship expired processed packaged foods comes to. Let’s eat local and stay healthier!🇳🇬
100k naira is like $230.00 plus dollars and for only 10 things that's way much. Now, I see why my Nigerian friends shop at the street markets vs the supermarkets there. Too much for what they pay people to work there. Average people won't be able to shop at some grocery stores there at all. Good vid n enjoyable! tfs!
Thank God for sight seeing🤧🤧🤧🤧 I can walk into that supermarket, walk all through with my strolling basket and just check out with 3 items minus the ones I will leave at the counter because the price is highhhhh🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nigeria 🇳🇬 is really beautiful place to visit.

Eat local. It helps you and the economy.

I am wantng to send items to africa to sell. My friend is in ghana. Do you know what would be best to sell?
Wow! I'd feel like a kid in a candy store, so many varieties of foods. Love this food store.

There's alot of products from the USA in the store. That's great👍
So diverse. Thanks for showcasing this supermarket.
Day by Day I am loving Lagos
I also get carried away when I get to the sauces and condiments section of any store.. I can spend up to 15-30 minutes there😄
You don't carry your debit card to enter this kind of store because ....OMO!!!! 😂😂😂😂 See the assortment of products naa.
Kombucha tastes flat but not bad. It is not sweet but you can tolerate it. It has the flavor of any fruit labelled on it.
Delis suermarket is not for those who earn in Naira, their prices ehn, chei i just walked out jejely. God no go shame us
You're funny
Even if you earn in dollars, after converting the rate, you'll jejely pick can of soda, pay & leave.
