Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I love watching your videos. I am an American woman married to an African man and your videos definitely help me! ❤
That vegetable is called Bitter gourd/melon. It's used a lot in Asian dishes.
And yes there were supermarkets around back in the old days 😄. The ones I knew were Kingsway and Leventis.
Hi sissie and family, I really miss you I was on vacation in Africa, the economy is not easy o even in Gambia, it was so difficult for me to bring my african foodstuffs to UK, but god is in control IJN
The prickly fruit you picked up is called bitter gourd. It is quite bitter, but the health benefits are amazing. If you cut the fruit up and then let it sit in slat water for about 10 to 15 minutes its takes the bitterness away. It is often eaten with eggs. Very good for digestion and very tasty when prepared properly.
I enjoyed all your trips 😀The veg is called karela or bitter gourd . the Indians use it in their dishes like sanzibi ( mixture of okra tomatoes and karela, with potatoes . you can just boil it and drink the water. I like bitter things. I hear it is good for helping control blood sugar . 😇
It's called bitter melon. And in my country it's called Karela. And I love it. Actually my favorite vegetable to eat
Wow ! I just bumped on your video today, and it was great ! I live in Lekki, and would love to know the 3 Supermarkets you first went. I only go to ShopRite, Grand Square, and Ebaeno. Also please which open market did you go ? I know one on Freedom Way, but I never went in. This one you went looks clean and dry !!
Kids always love little treats, there were Kingsway, Leventis, UTC and Bhojson's in Lagos in the 1950s , even earlier, my kids enjoyed going with me too !! We thank God for kids. Hoping to hear from you. Thanks.
Wow, I had completely forgotten about UTC and Bhojson's 😄👍🏾
I love the fruit and vegetables store. Everything there is so fresh. I enjoyed watching ❤❤❤
For someone like you who lives far, mile 12 is not worth it at all. Judt go to the market and meal prep every month and vlog it. Its more worth it than the stress of mile 12.
In my country 🇰🇪 Kenya - sauce means a WHOLE different thing. It means, a complimentary, like, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup. etc. Rather than saying sauce, we say Rojo (gravy not curry).
I love it when you take us shopping with you ❤
So beautiful to see details of your shopping
Thank you for such insightful and knowledgeable content
I ❤️ u
Your supermarkets were so uncrowded. What a pleasure! I don't generally go shopping on Fridays or Saturdays because the stores are packed and the lines long. The vegetables were so beautiful and very fresh. We have farmers markets here in my city from late spring until the fall. I love shopping there. The girls are adorable! ❤ Blessings!
No one does grocery shopping like you🥺❤️❤️❤️
Wa oooh, lovely black ebony sister ! Thanks so much for sharing your programme with us. Beautiful Blessed family.
Love you All !
Beautiful Vlog. Please more of it.....
In jamaica that fruit is called cerasee fruit ,the vines and leaves are used boiled and strained for cleansing of body and pregnant ladies like myself drink it to make baby born with clean pretty skin 😊

Thanks for this. I have African markets in my town but just didn't know how to shop. I felt discouraged and out of place. Psst. You looked nice dressing for shopping 💄. Alot of Women forget to do that. Thanks. ❤🎉👀👩💻
Yay!!!!! Who else is as excited as I am😩❤
I enjoyed the shopping, It's always a lesson in itself.
This is really fun to watch thank you for sharing
That green rough body is called corolla vegetable in Guyana South America. You can check it up how is being cooked but a bit bitter in taste. Is used to eat rice.
Lovely supermarket with our foods well stocked. The big bag of rice is more economical to me instead of the 10kgs
Your market video they give me joy
Yeah back in the days there was U.T.C, Leventis & Kimgsway. I guess it depends in the year you were born, as these super stores were eventually closed down.
You have beautiful kids Sisi!
Going to mile12 ll still save u money if u r buying In bulk wen u add all d extra money u ll avenue is enough to compensate for d fuel meaning u ll use it for something eals it’s better u go with a friend not with kids
That fruit is called bitter gourd and uts very great for the health

The shopping is so relaxing and the fruits and veggies in the market looks fresh and organic too.

Beautiful vlog sisi. I think it's called a bitter gourd. If am correct 😅😅Groceries now cost an arm, head legs or even kidneys now in Nigeria. Seeing you buy all those stuffs😢😢😢. It's well
Hi sissy
The fruit you picked is called the bitter gourd or bitter melon
It's usually incorporated into juices and smoothies
The veg you asked about is called the bitter gourd or bitter melon.
That orange and green veggie u picked up is call a bitter melon. Cambodian ppl use it a lot in their cooking. My parents love it, I think it’s a little too bitter for me. 😁
Love it!
Your kids are pretty
Hi Yem💛nice grocery venture 💝💐
It's called corrila in our country it's a vegetable
These babies are all grown
Ah! Sisi I beg to differ
Mile 12 is worth compared to island prices for foodstuff, fruits and fresh vegetables especially when you’re bulk buying
You’ll get produce that will last months
Trust me
Try and explore it once
Thanks for sharing
One of my fvrt vlogs ❤

Grocery hall at the end of the shopping will be the crown. @ sisi Yemisi
What are the names othe shops you went to
Came here first😩❤️
What about Price Pally?
Whereabouts are the two supermarkets? What's the supermarkets names please? Thanks for the upload ❤❤❤❤
Sad but true. Once you make a market person your customer, especially food market, expect to be cheated or badly treated in 3, 2, 1 second... Nigerian market seller's don't reward loyalty.
And the fish shop name pls ?
It's called Karela or bitter melon
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Love you always Sisi Yemi.
Money is good
That fruit is called BITTER MELON.
Bitter melon 19:50
If you are not buying only tomatoes, mile12 is worth it
If you don't live close to Mile 12, it is not worth it, no matter the bulk you buy. If you were passing by and decide to branch, then that is a different matter
lol I've not seen a ginger that big before
