Visited the museum a couple of days ago. There is no better way to appreciate the Roman past of Passau. Excellent introduction to the Roman past of Germany or Europe. Very, very well done. Highly recommended.
What an awesome piece, but why they make unauthentic helmets on soldiers for the late antiquity? If I am unaware of any new finds, please let me know. But I never seen a around 0 a.d. Praetorian similiar helmet with metal ridge. Only the 4th+ a.d. century helmets of intercisa type got those metal ridge crests as far as I know.
