People being critical by saying its not keiths way ,dam can you just say great play, who cares if he changed it you know the song ,& the bass line & it sounds GREAT!!🤙
That's a great job, thank you ! I read the comments, especially the one saying that you retuned the original song to avoid retuning the bass. But if I play that song with a band, could you explain what shall I tell to the guitarists ?
@@Brand73 It is more interesting to play, but I think sitting on the B root note with different rhythm variations is more effective. It just sounds more badass. Nevertheless, Bill Wyman plays in your way in the live performances.
Great work, as usual. Which version is it ? No the original (beggars banquet). This one is more interesting on bass More a live version One day you should look at how Darryl Jones is playing it. Thanks for your work
This is tuned a half step higher than the official RUclips versions and the one off the album. Was that done on purpose? Where did the track come from?
Yes correct. To make it easier for everyone I took the original song and used audio pitch software to retune it to standard A440 tuning so people can play along without trying to re-tune their bass to the exact match of the original song tuning.
Love your Stones covers! Keep 'em coming!

thanks for watching! As long as guitarist and bass are all tuned the same , it sounds good! I'm playing in E standard (A440)
'my' guitarist says playing it in B flat is harder, he likes it this way
This is not the line Keith played. He did not double the guitar riff in the verses - he just sat on the B root note throughout the verses.
My way is more interesting than just sitting on the B root note :)

I was looking for Wyman’s sound in the first place, so this works for me!
He built foundations, not decorations :-)
Nice!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Very good 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
This is great! Could you do Emotional Rescue? (:

thanks, I think it's from that 40 licks album

I think Wyman just pounded the B flat?
eh, what's the fun in that?
The correct bassline gives the cool groove of the tune. otherwise it's quite dull.
Keith played bass
