Covington is just south of Cincinnati. I have a friend that grew up there. That's cool book . I'd like to see more from it. Good video as usual my friend. ✌️😎
Really like the amber and green ginger ale bottles ! That looks like a nice price guide book to have ! A lot of great finds ! Enjoyed watching the hunts/digs😊
Are you in another Good Spot?😂😮 Already Like those Schweppes really liking your books And Wheaton's are on that page posted, Got a collection of them Your on a Roll 🥐 🙋♀️ ✨✌️😊✨
Thanks... I need to have a good look at the book. I've only glanced at it. I'm thinking of going through it on videos, but not sure how many views it'd get.... I might do it anyways lol
That's the first amber Schweppes that I've ever seen. The green flask you found is really nice. Cool old bottle price guide and it would be awesome just to see some of those items. Take care Kevin and best regards !
Looks like a a couple fun places to dig. That bell is part of an old mechanical doorbell. Our library has many of the Unitt's bottle guides. Luckily they have kept most of the editions (from #1 to into the teens). They are interesting to look at in the library on a cold crappy day. You have to take the pricing with a grain of salt, but great reference material. I'm due for a visit to the library.
My Dad used to say that he enjoyed reading the stories in "certain" magazines, but we all knew he liked looking at the pictures. Ha, ha.@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger
hi, I have a lot of Thous old price guides I bought back when I first started digging. the Natioal bitters and Indian princess are worth three times as much now.
I'd be freaking out with 1930 or 40 bottles like this. By the way, it looks like you've got some Japanese Knotweed there. 🌿🌾 Great bottle book. When did you did this trip, cause the Knotweed is prime size for harvest ,cooking and eating??👍8:45+ Ooh dayumm, Amber and Green SWEPPES👍
Nice price guides from the 70's noticed the Drakes price 50.00😮 wish I could find them for that price now 😳 and the corn for 250..my goodness can't buy a Drakes for under 200 now and the corn is triple to quadruple now 😵💫
Yep, I've noticed the price difference on the bottles in the old price guides. Might as well double the price on them for sure. Like ya say, some are more than tripled now too.
I've come to the conclusion that it's a Damn good show and I shouldn't question that statement. 🤔⚠️😁
Exactly ! Lol

I like leafing through them. Gives me an idea of some of the possible bottles out there
You and Jane crack me up! Love your videos!

Those bottles don't turn up very often. I finds tons of those 1968 npnr bottles, but rarely see one of those ginger ale ones
The books are very interesting, Kevin. The Schwepps bottles are gorgeous, and you can put that green flask in the mail to me! It's gorgeous!🤣🎄❤️
The little green flask... yes, it was a lucky survivor of the wet and cold conditions here lately. I'm glad it didn't break... it's a nice one
Awesome finds man !! I enjoyed the show for shore 😎⛏⛏⛏✌
Thanks OG... you've had some nice ancient artifact finds lately !

Morning, mister
Never seen the amber Schweppes before, cool find. A friend gave me the unitts book awhile back, and for its age has some good prices
They don't turn up very often. Have you seen the green one out your way ?
I have found the green ones out here :)
@@jsteelsadventureandvariety4545 I have no idea why they would have two different colored identical bottles
hard to say, possible material shortage, or making variety?
@@jsteelsadventureandvariety4545 I'm wondering if maybe one was a different flavor or diet...

Hey Dave... yeah, this footage was from a cpl months ago. Minus 18°c here today.

Don’t throw the brass and copper back in the hole. Toss em all into 5 gallon buckets and cash in at the end of the year. It adds up. 😎
I'd like to do that, but I have enough to do already lol
I just got that book! Love the Schweppes bottles!!
Right on... it seems like a decent book, but I haven't really spent much time going through it.
