The biggest LIE about libertarians

- The whole point of my channel is to dispel the myths about libertarianism, and to provide education. I mention that a lot. So today I wanted to go head-on against the claim that goes beyond myth and into an outright slanderous lie: that we 'hate the poor', and show you how the people who make this claim most often hurt the poor greatly with their meddling policies and wasteful schemes.

These cuts are BLOOD money...people will DIE
i got my friend to start watching you and he went from essentially NeoCon lite to full blown libertarian in only about half a year. thanks for that, chad
If libertarians hate the poor and statists don't, why do so many rich monarchs, politicians and socialists exist, yet at the same time so many not-rich libertarians exist? 🤔
You should do a debunking of the old phrase "anarcho capitalism will just devolve into feudalism"
Logically it would though, wouldn't it?
@@ggexgaming6020 no lol
@AJ-tr5ml Yes, it would. Given enough time, someone would eventually grow powerful enough.
@@ggexgaming6020 No. It's literally impossible. The ECP means that organizations cannot combine infinitely.
@@AJ-tr5mlThat means that somebody is going to get conquered.
Okay I agree with all of that but my question is who will care about the roads XD
Its quite simple, as anglo said: private companies want roads, everyone wants roads, if there are no roads, how will car companies make money? How will food be delivered from a factory to a buisness? how will people go to work without roads? Its in everybody's interest to have roads, people will pay for roads, therefor companies would build roads, if the private sector can make cars, phones and so many other things, I think it can make some roads.
(this is not a quote, not even close to one, but basically thats what he says about the issue)

Brilliant video. Democracy is inherently collectivist and appears to be a noose around the neck of every individual. Monarchy certainly isn't the answer either. Freedom is the only cure for this madness.

Chad move
Ditto. The algorithm keeps shoving authoritarian expansion of government bullshit down my recommended videos list despite all the content I watch
I now have a video to send people on why libertarianism is actually good
Well I'm an Anarcho-Capitalist now anyway
Who enforce the law
"You just hate the the poor!"
You mean the same poor we ancaps have been especially standing up for that you make poor with regulations, taxes, and criminal record laws?
Seriously statists are annoying and hypocritical as hell!
Also what do you think of stoners and non-stoners that think only pot should be legal and that hard drugs should remain illegal?
I have a lot of scorn for them and their hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance.
Libertarians are not anti-statist, whatever that means.
@@TheWayoftheSithWhat are you even trying to say?
@@anancapcat4221 libertarians want a minarchist state, or drastically reduce the size of the state till it only enforces rights, firefighting, roads, and judiciary and police. Otherwise they would infringing on property rights by taking from the private sector and thus wanting to reduce competition. Because then the state is competing with the private sphere. They are still pro public goods. Why? Public goods describe products that are non-excludable and non-rival. That means no one can be prevented from consuming them, and individuals can use them without reducing their availability to other individuals. Examples of public goods include fresh air, knowledge, national defense, street lighting,
@@TheWayoftheSith Okay why would you use a state to enforce people's rights if that isn't how it really works?
Rights don't come from the state's supposed protection of them. They come from innocent people merely existing as individuals with self ownership and autonomy.
States only take away rights. Not grant or protect them because they inherently are a monopoly on force.
Therefore, they by their very existence violate the right of freedom.
Also why should the state control the few services you've mentioned? Literally everything would be done better purely by the free market.
Also if the state sucks why even trust it with that? I mean if it sucks as a whole you shouldn't even have it in charge of a little stuff.
I don't see a reason to make anything a public good if the free market can provide all of it but better. That's what the market does, that's why we even live close to each other is so that we can have a free market which provides us with stuff. This is how we get stuff and get stuff done
Government just gets in the way and ruins that. Plus we don't even need public vs private competition we just need private competition.
We really shouldn't have a government which is inherently something that rules by force and on top of that makes you pay for it.
@@TheWayoftheSithancaps are libertarians. Ancaps are anti-statist.

Great video. Economic Jacobinism is a scourge on freedom.
Those who attack libertarians with this nonsense are irresponsible, enablers of irresponsibility, or people with victim mentality and dependency issues.
free market capitalism ends in monopolies every single time

Love your content, and there’s a question I’ve had trouble answering and I’d love to hear your take on it. How does a stateless free-market society handle the intersection of data collection and private property? Who does the internet belong to, if anyone, and is the data I create by using it mine or the property of whoever created the domain I use?
It definitely varies depending on where you are but the poor in my city are annoying. There was someone who got caught using pictures of somebody else's child with cancer on a sign begging!
I hate the poor and I'm not a libertarian.
Commenting because this britbong doesn’t know who I am, or does he? Also algorithm stuff and the G3 is better than the FAL
Would you do a video on universal basic incomes and/or negative income tax?
I have, it's quite an early one
Freedom isn't always good. Sometimes doing something because you can is bad for somebody else (exploitation by theft, usury, rent), or bad for yourself (porn, big macs, junk food, junk television, addictions e.t.c.) giving people freedom to do those things is just going to give people the right to do bad things to others or themselves, to take advantage of others people's trust or pleasure oneself at the expense of ones health is clearly not suddenly moral or useful just because its "muh freedom".
auithright here, the only monopoly that works is God's
