In February, we moved back to India permanently. Our baby was born at Renai, and I was allowed to be in the labor room. The facilities were on par with Canadian healthcare, and the total cost was around 70k. There were some complications, but everything is fine now..
Go to your family doctor, get requisitions for medical check up (thyroid,rbc,wbc, they have a ton of tests for pregnant woman in the first sem), get those tests done and results evaluated by doc, start prenatal vitamins (that contains folic acid, iron etc - materna is a popular brand), then get requisition for first semester scan (family doc tharum), get scanning done, pinne find a preferred gynaecologist and share the name with your family doc. Family doc will send request to gynaecologist and you will most likely recieve a call from the gynaec office for remaining appointments. Baakki gyanaecolist nokikkolum.
