I heard this live in Allentown. It was one of the most beautiful pieces of the evening. The chords are so full and rich. I especially love the A major 7th at :59. Thank you for bringing the crowds such awesome music.
Thanks for uploading this Jon. This was an important moment of growth for me and being able to watch it again and see how far I've come since my measly 15 y/o self picked up the tuba decided to go on tour again is surreal. I don't care that we didn't get to semis, it was still one of the best times of my life and I regret nothing except I wish I kept in touch with you all more. Goofing off in the back of the brass bus was probably my favorite part of my teens. Seeing surf perform last week back after the pandemic got me nostalgic and finding this video has brought me full circle. Hope you're doing well bro :)
