- This trip went from good to very bad fast! From bad weather in Chicago to falling ill while outstation, the golden lining was that I travelled back in Emirates Business Class.

always a good idea to be snacking, I don't mean candy bars and junk food, more like a small sandwiches and fruit juices. I always carry couple bottles of water, and soda water too. I always try to get lay-flat seats on my airlines flights as much as I can, helps me reduce leg swelling. :)

Being sick away from home is the worst, especially when you’re alone. Totally understand you wanting to call your Mom…my oldest is 44 with a husband and child yet still calls her Mom when she doesn’t feel well. Glad you’re better! Also, don’t worry if you don’t get a Vlog out when you planned, Sophie. We will just watch later than you originally planned. 😀

In late March I flew business class with Emirates for the first time, Perth WA to Manchester, it was amazing, the cabin crew were brilliant, once in a lifetime experience i'd imagine, I've flown with Emirates a lot over the years, only ever in economy, which is still so good, on the way back, landing in Dubai, we had a rejected landing ( i think thats what its called), due to weather conditions, glad you're feeling better, i love your sweatshirt, where is it from ?

What the bed like Sophie on business? Got a 3am flight home to Manchester in September so might try and upgrade as I can never sleep on economy.

The longest is around 16 an half, 17 hours to the far side of either America or New Zealand

What a plot twist 😳 I honor You shared Your experiences.
Regarding medical incidents in years of traveling as a passenger unfortunately I had to witness some medical issues. One time we were not allowed to leave the aircraft after landing until a passenger was brought out using an isle chair. Luckily it was not a connection flight for me.
Did You have to handle a medical incident during work? I have seen aircrafts being equipped with a defibrillator and I watched a report, that there is a medical center which can be called to remotely assist in serious cases.

Onboard the aircraft we have so much medical equipment and medicine that we can use (even some if we are lucky to have a dr onboard who can administer). We go though insane medical training because at 40,000ft you only have the crew most of the time. It’s unfortunate that medical passengers are on most flights and the last priority is connections of other passengers
@@SophieFayHart Thx for the detailed answer. Hopefully nobody needs medical help on board, but good to know in case, the aircraft is good equipped and the flight crew is well trained!
They might have eaten your food. 🥪🥪🌯 🥘 The people who took it from you at the airport. Some of those people also steal money and valuables.
