His profound genuine kindness and true musicianship matched my own which moves my missing him even more deeply and profoundly.
The greatest composer at his most beloved subject matter; one of the greatest violonists on one of the worlds best instruments and a very wonderful, heart melting singer .... What a precious moment when all these came together ....
I only heard today of Mira's passing. I was privileged to be at this performance of 'Erbarme Dich' for Pope John Paul with Sinfonia Varsovia in the courtyard of Castelgandolfo. A never to be forgotten moment.
