This is how I learned to tune. Safc2 which is "old school" now. Still use it. I'm running a safc2 on a turbo sentra spec v. Bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, lower compression pistons with stronger rods. Running 10lbs I'm alittle over 300hp which is a very conservative tune for my setup. Car is fun and has been ultra reliable. No issues whatsoever in 40k miles since build finish
Hi maybe you can help me out i bought from my brother a 2003 sentra spec v sr turbo at 5 pounds boost the car has the apexi neo and i dont have a clue how to set the apexi, ill appreciate any helo i can get. 6 speed manual
@@yeszethsarinni6829 what do you mean by set the apexi? Do you need to install it? Is it already installed and just need to tune the car? If you need help installing google a plug & play adapter for your car so you can use the neo or search for detailed images of the side of the engine harness that connects to the ecu so you know what cable does what and where it’s connected to in the ecu plug. Then splice or solder the neo cables to the harness. If you need help tuning first get a wideband gauge, then do research on how to tune a car with a piggyback. If it’s anything like an safc2 then just adjust the fuel percentage while climbing rpm & tune based on the afr readings you get from the wideband. 14.7 is what you want the wideband to read on wide open throttle.
Happy for this trial today, thanks for the video. Vafc installed on a 98 prelude SH 😎 is low throttle also known as narrow throttle and high throttle known as wide throttle ?my VAFC looks a little different.
I'm experiencing power loss while getting on it, I'm thinking it might be running lean at high rpms, and rich at low, I'm really not very savvy with this and even with your video I'm having a little trouble understanding, but what ratios and such would you recommend? It's currently at >/= +3% @7000rpm should I bump that up to >/= +10% @7000rpm and see what it does? It's a 1991 mitsubishi 3000gt zr4 that makes about 550 to the wheels
I have a turbocharged alfa romeo 156 with the 2 Liter Twin Spark engine. I know it's not Japanese but should it be possible to fit This on this car? Does anyone know that?
@@DriftDreams242 Thank you for your answer. I found out that these parts are sold as universal. So i guess when you find the right connecting points on the ecu it should work.

Do you feel the difference of power when you set the tune?
hi by any chance could u make a video about setting up an apexi avc-r boost controller? thanks
Buen video, me sirvió mucho tu información. Gracias.
Thank you for video! You help me out

Hello! can i use SAFC on 4age silvertop with Afm flap?
What's AFM flap?

Also does the safc have to have a permanent power to save the memory. Or does it have a battery inside it to save the memory when the car is off
Solid state drives, (ssd). Same way most every other modern electronic saves data with no power.
@@link6sick6 it's not a solid state drive bud. It's called flash memory

Hi, if low throttle its 30% and high throttle its 70% what about that gap 30-70?
@@DriftDreams242 hey i think the safc takes the average between the 2 maps and makes a linear graph and uses that. So its safe and works smooth.
smoothly scales up automatically by the software's algorithm. these % numbers are just for reference
Hola la VAfc2 me sirve aún cuando mi vehículo no es honda ????
entiendo que si solo que la opcion para ajustar el tiempo que activa el vtec nonlo vas a utilizar solo las otras opciones de la mezcla!!
Can it store more than 1 fuel maps? like 1 for eco mode and 1 for racing and you can choose the one you want.
Algún consejo de cómo ajustar el vtec controller? 🤔
