I think most of people who are saying that, a lot of times also see the fact that a lot of the gaits and all of the jump animations are recycled, so it sort of becomes a just carbon copy of the KWPN. Which is fine it’s just annoying.
I really dislike how in all of the gates, the shoulder and chest looks extremely locked up, there is practically no movement, and hardly any reach in the in the front end. I do like the special gate though I wish sso would just change all the horses to Be able to jump smaller things, then, this game would no longer be needed, but oh well.
I thought the opposite! As soon as I saw "IDLE" and saw it moving I said "Oh noooooooo" because I just hate horses that move around so much when they're supposed to be standing calmly. Maybe if they only did it every once in a while, but I feel like the "standing still" time is very short in between idle animations.
@@lowisaklaesson6459G4 will work differently than everything we know ever since from SSO horses. For G4 horses it will be possible to individualize them by the player regarding coat color and markings, so no generic coats anymore. So no, this horse is not G4.
@@pantherstar they covered that in one of the latest dev blogs, that they are moving away from breeding and more towards individualizing horses, based on feedback they gathered.
I really REALLY hope they are not finished. Knowing SSO they probably are, but they don't look like it. The last few warmblood breeds were all pretty good, but this....I don't even know where to start. The horse looks very stiff and uncomfortable in every movement. It looks like moving physically hurts the horse. The gaits are also very stiff and kinda jumpy/floaty. Doesn't look elegant at all. The model and colors are very pretty, though. Maybe I'll get one to look at it
Even though some of the coats are wonderful, I haven't taken a liking to the gaits- I must admit that the roar seems pretty interesting and majestical, and the idle animations are quite vivid, lively, energetic and vigorous, so it is not impossible that I might end up buying one, or even a few
They're super pretty and I'll def be getting at least one or two, but I really hope they fix those broken back legs during the turn in-place before release! Thank you for yet another great spoiler video!! :)
The sooty buckskin ( 5:02 ) looks like a horse I ride sometimes called Zeus! He's slightly darker though, but I'm definetly getting him! He moves almost identically as well!
Gotta say, these are lookin' pretty good! Loving the colors, and am really looking forward to that Sooty Dapple! Couple things though: 1: Kudos on the conformation. It looks fantastic! But that nice pretty conformation is causing you some problems (listed below). 2: The trot. Front could have a bit more reach and fluidity in the shoulders, but it's the rear pasterns that's really throwing things off. If I recall correctly, most of the breeds in game have slightly shorter pasterns than what's seen here. Common for WB's; that's why they have those nice elastic gaits we see in the rings. Bhat nice pretty conformation I mentioned up there? You need to match the action to the conformation, which in this case means deepening the landing flexion and spring back up, and the swing out before the leg comes forward, both in the rear pasterns. 3: On the canter speed and up, your problem is coming from both the pasterns and the gaskins. Add a bit more flexion/spring in the first, and shorten the oustide length on the latter as the leg swings back and out. This'll mimic the contracting muscles on a RL horse, and tidy up the movement. And 4: the jump. Someone else in the comments mentioned this (ottb.harvey), and I'd like to reiterate it, as this one seems to be a common theme across the board. Horses take off by planting both hind legs and pushing off, not spontaneously levitating into that nice pretty tuck over the jumps we all know and love. Does animating this take more work? Yes. Will it fit with the height a lot of the jumps are set at? Possibly not, especially the ponies. But the payoff would be immense. At the very least, stop the downhill slide further away from jump take-offs you guys seem to be on. Fix the take-off, add a bit more 'weight' to the landing motion and set for next stride, and you'll be golden. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing these changes implemented and the subsequent release! 😊 Edit to credit @ottb.harvey for the comment on the jump motion!
@@LUN4321 Thank you! I had one of these on the Lipizzaner and the Belgian WB as well. I think they saw the one on the Bel WB, as they wound up fixing a couple of the issues I'd pointed out. Hopefully they see this one as well. :)
The 6th one actually made my jaw drop. Sso did not omfg 😍 I haven’t been excited for a breed in a while but god dayum these horses are gorgeous. I hope they add a bit more to the gaits as I feel they’re a little generic but my god these horses are stunning. They’ll be added to my top ten horse list for sure when they’re released 😍😍😍
I think it's likely a place holder for the gaits that they are actually going to add. Of course this is just a theory, but I really do think they will change them because those gaits are on some gen 2 and early gen 3 horses!
ive worked with selle français and i can assure you they do not move like that, atleast for the walk and trot, it literally looks like they didn't take reference for those gaits and just used the gen 2 starter horse gaits. though the canter and gallop are pretty on point!
I gotta say... I'm not a huge horse nerd & I don't know a lot about IRL horses so I dont say this with really any expectation of realism, but I really think these animations are great. They have so much personality. They do look stiff in a lot of places, but I gotta say- what a huge improvement from the last few breeds. I'm just happy the back doesn't look so stiff in the canter/gallop anims like the Lippi. They should go back & fix some of the stiffer gen 3 horses to have more movement like this in the head/neck/back.

The animators/riggers need to learn where horses' joints are and how they work. I was hyped for this one but it looks kinda broken. Has the same extra long gaskins as the Morgans 😢 And in the gallop the front legs don't seem to extend fully 😢
I have already been able to try animation, and it's really not easy, I would advise you to find out before saying bad things about the animators behind this horse
@@ananaspitch Multiple people are being paid a full time salary to animate these horses. As people interested in the work they create, we're the ones best suited to give feedback about where it should improve. The comments are split right now 50/50 between people who love it as is, and people who are pointing out what I pointed out: the animations of the joints are off, which makes the gaits look unappealing It's not a personal insult, it's advice: learn where the joints are and how they work and the problem is fixed
@@danicawellsartcompletely agree! Those long gaskins amount to a kind of ‘sickle hocked’ appearance that seems to run through a lot of SSO models - almost like the animators haven’t quite managed to solve it from past models. It bothers me, especially because there are a few newer breeds without it. Its a real pet peeve for me! It’s why I passed on the Morgan.
@@spellywelly Exactly! With older models like the American Paint, Appaloosa, Haflinger, etc it seems like the level of detail is going up but the basics of where joints go and how they act was lost. I wonder if whoever worked on those earlier models still works at SSO? Cause they need to be brought in to quality check these new models!!!
Omg I've been checking your channel daily for the last 2 weeks waiting on this one to come out, I've never been so excited for a breed to come out because these are my country's pride and joy and when I'm in my home country, I spend entire days, all my free time working with Selle Francais they are my precious dudes I know them so well. I haven't watched the video yet but I want to put an edit down about my opinion of the breed once I have. Edit: I'm so disappointed the animations suck... Their back legs are way too underneath them and need to stretch out a bit more behind them. In the trot, the bounce is not there... I have hope that they're really just unfinished though you can see the sections of the legs sort of... Warping...? The jump is definitely the same as the dutch warmblood... Which gives me hope that that's just a placeholder. I'm so sad they aren't bending into the jump properly, but sso tends to make them bendier later on in the animation process I've noticed. The coats are stunning though, I think I'm gonna need the steel grey and the flea-bitten. I used to ride a massive fleabitten selle francais at my barn, I can't say no to it...
Being french Selle francais are pretty much every horse I ride and I must say that I love the model and coats, I wish there was duller coats, (i've never seen paint markings on a selle francais irl before they are extremelly rare) a simple chestnut would have been awesome especially because chestnut is the most common color the cadre noir uses with bays and they always tend to showcase the levade with a chestnut BUT really happy with the fea bitten, the steal grey looks great and very unique the cherry bay looks identical to my favorite horse and the back is pretty much my dream horse so I can't complain The model looks pretty much perfect to me other than the pointy belly? Not sure what happened there lol Oh shoot and I just noticed that when turning into place the back legs fold back on themselves I really hope that they are at least going to change that because the back legs definatelly look very broken when turning on the spot The animations.. Ugh.. I must say that I like the fact that the horse actually moves to a different spot in the idle animations, it's the first time sso does it and it's very original and realistic (those warmbloods tend to be all over the place sometimes) but I hope they manage to make this animation appear really rarelly in the loop as I see how it could get annoying, I overall really like the walk and canter, the gallop and faster gallop are a bit violent but they wanted to depict a show jumper during a competition and yeah I don't mind it, maybe a bit stiff though, the trot I'm not a fan of The levade looks awesome I like how the horse makes a lot of little steps before rising, just like in real life (i feared it would look like the andalusian rear which has always looked like a bad levade to me) and the special gait.. Mhh not a roleplayer so not a fan but I don't mind it, I view it as something extra and I see how it would be fun having them jump over cross poles or even simple poles. I just hope we have simple poles and cross poles at a right distance in game because if we don't that move would be a little useless and goofy The jumps to me are not very good, especially for a jumper, I would like to see him wrap a bit more around the jump (a bit like they did for the Jorvik friesian (yeah that's the only thing they did good on that breed) and after the very weighty ardennes I wish they did add this weight and force feel to the breed because right now they look like carousel horses when jumping, they are just levitating and putting 0 force on their backlegs and when they land it doesn't seem like their front legs have any force on them I must say I LOVE the hard stop it looks like a refusal and I bet the roleplaying community will like it, I really like how they shake their head right after as if the stop took them a lot of effort
I think the gaits are place holders and since they are warmbloods, of course they will be very similar to the Dutch warmbloods. It's very difficult to not make all horse breeds the same when they have similar confirmation.

Thank you CC for posting. I do not see any particular caracteristics of the Selle Français. This could also be named Oldenburger, Holsteiner or Hannoveranian Warmblood. Also the movements especially while jumping still seem to date from older generations. The frame of the horse reminds me of the Thouroughbred and the Hannoveranian - so nothing new. Many thanks for yor alltime deeply informative videos. Your work is appreciated very much. Take care and enjoy the things you do.
I'm sorry but it looks like a group project but that one classmate wanted to do the modeling with no experience and sent the modeler to work on animations
Aw, man. When a horse looks this good small flaws become really noticeable.. the hocks are slightly too low on the hind legs and it’ll forever bother me, the movement just looks a bit awkward 🤥 also the shoulder/ chest area seems a bit limited, almost forced in a locked position, especially in full gallop and the rear.. idk I love the model and coats but the animations just feel a bit stiff, I hate to say it 😩
The horse at 4:14 has a very similar marking to Raleigh Link’s horse Link…idk if anyone else noticed that or knows who she is but I just can’t get it out of my head it looks sm like it Edit: I just looked at Raleigh’s channel and omg the markings are exactly the same! I think Sso took inspiration from her horse cause every detail of the marking is in this horse
Gaits are cute, a little funky but at this point it's to be expected from the team. I'm super bummed we didn't get any of the old costs the Selle used to have. Like that unique gray coat with the black eyeliner markings. I could have killed for that, I'm hoping that'll be the open house special horse for the spring event, would totally buy it.
I don't love that they leviatate when they jump, but otherwise? These are a great depiction of the breed. They trot like an eventer (which is to say: not anything to write home about). Their gallop is weighty. The coats are fabulous. As somebody that has previously been a show groom for a 3* eventer (whos show team had two chestnut selle Francais mares) i can genuinely say these feel very true to life... Except the jumps
Important info: Most horses with really flashy gaits will not have the gallop needed for cross-country. Additionally, the flashier the horse the more difficult they are to keep sound. A good cross country horse needs to be durable. Also! Selle Français are notoriously thoroughbred centric. This is not a breed that would have insane amounts of suspension.
I love all of the gaits besides the walk and trot which are pretty basic- but oh my goodness the CANTER and the GALLOP are to die for!! The movement in the back and hindquarters and shoulders is just perfect!
I feel like if anyone is doing a lesson horse roleplay or in their roleplays they are looking for lesson horses, this might be a great one bcs of the special move for the tiny jumps ❤
at 3:37 you can see the mane glitch out when the horse turns, so obviously this will be fixed, hopefully the other gaits aswell. Gonna be hopeful and assume that they just decided to focus on the coats way more first??
The model is gorgeous but the gait animations are off, especially at the hind legs. They could make them perfect, it's not the lack of abilities. For some reason they decide not to. The special gaits are usually flawless.
Love seeing SSO's progression on their horses. Simple things as the wrinkles, veining, etc. Excited for this one. Hopefully the rear is polished up, the shoulder is a little wonky, but with another month for adjusting... looking forward to the end result.
I feel like these horses are going to go the way of the Belgian Warmbloods for me- at first a little iffy, some things I wish were done better, but then I end up adoring them and having fun riding them around! Definitely in love with the model and coat colors- the bay and two greys are probably coming home with me ❤
I think the gaits are likely place holders because I hear that sso will make them very different from any other horse in game (im assuming coding wise.) I believe the gaits will be replaced with something better since I also notice that they are also used on older gen 2/3 models. The coats are very nice! I think I will have a hard time choosing like I did when the Ardennes came out! Also im a huge warmblood fan and just because of the conformation, I will likely buy them if SSO works on the gaits more!
They're so beautiful, especially the fleabitten one like omg sso outdid themselves for this horse. Although some of the animations like the rear and the hard stop kind of remind me of the belgian warmbloods, and the body shape looks a little bit like the dutch warmbloods. But overall i love this breed so much, and the high rear is just so unique and cute!! 💗😻 I'm definetly going to get these horses.
Re really hope those gates are placeholders because those back legs are something else lol. Many of the animations look janky, stuttery, and unfinished.
@@iridiumSerpent That is true, but for the past few years I have been watching spoilers they horse comes out pretty much exactly as the video shows. I really hope that is not the case here, but I have seen it pretty much every time.
Im gonna be honest, i really don't like the gaits (inclueding the special one), they just feel kinda of. But i like the way they are going backwards, i think that is really pretty
I'm definitely getting the fleabitten grey and the steel grey, my gosh!! Such pretty coats. I hope the animations will get smoother or that I'll get used to them lol.
Excited for these! One of my very first purchased horses in SSO was the Selle Francais, I had the chestnut/blonde one! I’ll definitely be getting at least that one, maybe one or two of the other colors. I think overall they’re getting better with smooth animations and anatomy of each build. But do agree the gaits could be a little more varied.
I hate the head position 😭 I don't know if they're supposed to look collected, but they look more like their heads are forcefully tied to their chest with an invisible string
Hey!, These are just my opinion's on the new Selle Francais. WALK: Look's stiff i hope the walk gait isn't unfinished because of the way it is it lowkey look's like a gen 2 model walk of a different breed can't name the breed though as i don't remember it. TROT: Very bouncy and stiff again the head doesn't move at all in this gait cold be a little more relaxed and easy going. CANTER: I actually kind of like this one it isn't that bad at all quite nice in fact realistic kind of. SLOW GALLOP: We're getting better! The gait's are becoming more realistic i like this gait a lot it's very nice!. FAST GALLOP: Nice! The same as slow gallop. BACK UP/REVERSING: Well footed but a little stiff neck could bend down a little more. SPECIAL GAIT: I really love this gait it's a small jumping gait for cavelletti's or what other people call bunny jump's! I really love this gait probably my favourite out of them all. TROT JUMP: Nice but stiff and very bouncy once again it has the over jump why do nearly all StarStableOnline (SSO) horse's have such an over jump? It make's role-pay's so unrealistic. CANTER JUMP: It's nice but the rear end goes up a lot higher then the front end when going over the jump, But i suppose it is in the breed. SLOW GALLOP JUMP: Nice but the over jump kind of put's me off but it look's nice!. FAST GALLOP JUMP: Nice still very high but i like it. It's the same as the slow gallop jump. STOP: Stiff but realistic. REAR: Kind of remind's me of some of the horse's rear's but it's still realistic kind of look's like it's mad or something. SPECIAL MOVE: Look's close to the arabian's special move. IDLE: Move's alot kind of like the belgian warmblood's but more. COAT 1: Flaxen Chestnut, Pretty but it look's very orange to me but i still like it or does it look red to me? i can't tell. COAT 2: Bay, I love bay's they're just adorable! I have alot of bay horse's in the game because their just adorable!. COAT 3: Fleabitten, Look's realistic and very nice! it's very pretty in my opinion. COAT 4: Chestnut Pinto, If i buy a Selle Francais it will most likely be this one because i like this coat alot you rarely get pinto coat's on the new horse's now. COAT 5: Black, I love this one it has an adorable black stripe on it's face!. COAT 6: Sooty Buckskin Pinto, This is adorable i like this one alot i might buy this one aswell! it's pretty! does anyone else agree?. COAT 7: Steel Grey, Look's a little strange i don't really like this coat but other people might. STATS AND PRICE: The Selle Francais will be sold at the Silverglade Manor? This is kind of classic as most of the new horse's well more sporty/eventing breeds are sold here. PICE: 900 StarCoin's?! I thought since it's a new horse it would be 950 StarCoin's!. STATISTICS: STRENGTH: 3 DISCIPLINE: 2 SWIFTNESS: 0 ENDURANCE: 2 AGILITY: 2 OVERALL OPINION I like this breed quite far and the statistic's are probably from when you just buy the Selle Francais. - Cora Orangeforest -this took me nearly 20 minute's to write while watching the video-
This wasn't a breed I was interested in buying but now I think I changed my mind 😅 Especially te chestnut - it's the first chestnut I actually like after the welsh ponies.
ever since the updated state machine, I absolutely hate the way almost ALL horses leave their jumping animation before they even land on the ground. the animation transitions between the jump and going back to the gait isn't smooth at all and you can clearly tell the sudden change of animation, as if there are frames missing... edit - I also always use my jumping camera, otherwise the jumping looks way too unrealistic to me. You can see how the sso horses are weightless when jumping, it feels like they aren't using any strength or their hind legs for that matter
I love them, just the walk and trot are so stiff, and horse's don't bounce like that, they need they're back legs to push off of the ground but other than that these horses are amazing, I love the Idle animations, they give the horses life lol. I love that they can't stand still

im so happy, i always wanted the old gen 1.5 grey selle francais with the little eyeliner but never got it. now they made it a gen 3 and im in love
@@waltuh3713 Same!
they're stunning but this looks like the beginning of a blend between gen 3 and gen 4
They have said that they will begin gen 4 soon. So i think this will be the first
@@lowisaklaesson6459G4 will work differently than everything we know ever since from SSO horses. For G4 horses it will be possible to individualize them by the player regarding coat color and markings, so no generic coats anymore. So no, this horse is not G4.
@@lowisaklaesson6459no this is still gen 3
@@Sleipnir800that sounds cool! Where did you see that?
Maybe I'll get one to look at it
Bro that is such a waste, who the hell would do that
@@FlaretheFireDragon333 that was a joke :D
nope, the dutch were disgusting. these are much better
also, they don’t look elegant and “jumpy” because they’re jumping horses????
@@sai_er agree
I love the colors especially the patterning on the flea-bitten, the dapple buckskin pinto and the grey.
Even though some of the coats are wonderful, I haven't taken a liking to the gaits- I must admit that the roar seems pretty interesting and majestical, and the idle animations are quite vivid, lively, energetic and vigorous, so it is not impossible that I might end up buying one, or even a few
I agree! I love the idles, and the special courbette, but the joints bend weird during the gaits.
Rhe gaits and even the high rear just look like andalusians tbh
Thank you C.C!
I was waiting for your spoiler nervously.
I saw the Insta pic from starstable, thank you for showing us the new Horses!❤
They're super pretty and I'll def be getting at least one or two, but I really hope they fix those broken back legs during the turn in-place before release! Thank you for yet another great spoiler video!! :)
The high quality spoilers are here! :D
Couple things though:
1: Kudos on the conformation.
Edit to credit @ottb.harvey for the comment on the jump motion!
Amazingly well explained, i hope they see this and take it on board!
I agree 😃
I'm sorry but what are these gaits! Is that really how a selle français moves? I mean, is it me or are they walking to short in the front?
Yeah! Especially with the back legs. They don't even fully extend, which realistically would make it very hard to walk.
Seriously, even the shoulders barely move like the Jorvik Warmblood
I think it's likely a place holder for the gaits that they are actually going to add. Of course this is just a theory, but I really do think they will change them because those gaits are on some gen 2 and early gen 3 horses!
ive worked with selle français and i can assure you they do not move like that, atleast for the walk and trot, it literally looks like they didn't take reference for those gaits and just used the gen 2 starter horse gaits. though the canter and gallop are pretty on point!
They look like a mix of the Belgian warmblood and the horse everyone loves don’t remember the names. The newest warmblood
Dutch warmbloods? if you ment Dutch warmbloods I agree they do look a lot like them
They’re all warmbloods, they’re bound to look similar
I think the TWH as well!
@@amiramazrina3680 yeah Dutch warmblood it was, haven’t got one but they look really similar, I think they are pretty though probably gonna buy one
@@kaiaandsnickers yeah your right!!
People forget its an early spoiler, its still not finished and there a still a few weeks untill they are ingame. ! And its very visible that in this spoiler the textures dont match correctly. So befeore compaling to much or overly judging. Keep that in mind. The final Product we will see ingame when they get released March 13 !
Btw SSO posted a short Video/Spoiler of them on insta. Their special move is for cavaletti Jumping.
I’ve never clicked so fast!
Same!
me tooo bwahahaha
The animators/riggers need to learn where horses' joints are and how they work. I was hyped for this one but it looks kinda broken.
Has the same extra long gaskins as the Morgans 😢
And in the gallop the front legs don't seem to extend fully 😢
Face is amazing though
I have already been able to try animation, and it's really not easy, I would advise you to find out before saying bad things about the animators behind this horse
@@ananaspitch Multiple people are being paid a full time salary to animate these horses. As people interested in the work they create, we're the ones best suited to give feedback about where it should improve. The comments are split right now 50/50 between people who love it as is, and people who are pointing out what I pointed out: the animations of the joints are off, which makes the gaits look unappealing
It's not a personal insult, it's advice: learn where the joints are and how they work and the problem is fixed
Hmmm... I hope the gates won't stay the same. They just don't feel right.
Being french Selle francais are pretty much every horse I ride and I must say that I love the model and coats, I wish there was duller coats, (i've never seen paint markings on a selle francais irl before they are extremelly rare) a simple chestnut would have been awesome especially because chestnut is the most common color the cadre noir uses with bays and they always tend to showcase the levade with a chestnut BUT really happy with the fea bitten, the steal grey looks great and very unique the cherry bay looks identical to my favorite horse and the back is pretty much my dream horse so I can't complain
The model looks pretty much perfect to me other than the pointy belly? Not sure what happened there lol
Oh shoot and I just noticed that when turning into place the back legs fold back on themselves I really hope that they are at least going to change that because the back legs definatelly look very broken when turning on the spot
The animations.. Ugh.. I must say that I like the fact that the horse actually moves to a different spot in the idle animations, it's the first time sso does it and it's very original and realistic (those warmbloods tend to be all over the place sometimes) but I hope they manage to make this animation appear really rarelly in the loop as I see how it could get annoying, I overall really like the walk and canter, the gallop and faster gallop are a bit violent but they wanted to depict a show jumper during a competition and yeah I don't mind it, maybe a bit stiff though, the trot I'm not a fan of
The levade looks awesome I like how the horse makes a lot of little steps before rising, just like in real life (i feared it would look like the andalusian rear which has always looked like a bad levade to me) and the special gait.. Mhh not a roleplayer so not a fan but I don't mind it, I view it as something extra and I see how it would be fun having them jump over cross poles or even simple poles. I just hope we have simple poles and cross poles at a right distance in game because if we don't that move would be a little useless and goofy
The jumps to me are not very good, especially for a jumper, I would like to see him wrap a bit more around the jump (a bit like they did for the Jorvik friesian (yeah that's the only thing they did good on that breed) and after the very weighty ardennes I wish they did add this weight and force feel to the breed because right now they look like carousel horses when jumping, they are just levitating and putting 0 force on their backlegs and when they land it doesn't seem like their front legs have any force on them
I must say I LOVE the hard stop it looks like a refusal and I bet the roleplaying community will like it, I really like how they shake their head right after as if the stop took them a lot of effort
Denis wisestorm is going to be so excited about that steel gray
bro he's gonna explode
fr he is
Ooo...me like! The flaxen chestnut and black are stunning! And love the special gait! 😊
looks like the belgian warmblood and the gaits sometimes look like they‘re from the 2nd generation ngl 😭

I like how the tail goes ⬆️🔄 when in the race lmaoo
but for sure with some polishing these horses are gonna be cyute
I wasn't too hyped about them until I saw that steel gray (color 7), I'm in LOVE with that coat!!!
Gaits are a bit weird, walk and trot back legs don't fully extend, fast canter and gallop are a bit janky. Model is amazing as always though.
the first one looks so much like my boy who passed last year, im so excited to buy him
does anyone else think that the fastest gallop looks like it about to fall over?? T~T
I'm sorry but it looks like a group project but that one classmate wanted to do the modeling with no experience and sent the modeler to work on animations
AGREED! The modelling and coats are PERFECT, and I really like the idle animations and special courbette move... but the GAITS X_X

Gotta say, i love how expressive the idle animations on the horses are getting.
The turning, Legs get displaced and the mane pops up weirdly. Thank you for the video
I absolutely love them! They need a bit of work but I love their idle, coat colours and animations SO FAR! Keep going C.C Creations! We love youuu

Aw, man. When a horse looks this good small flaws become really noticeable.. the hocks are slightly too low on the hind legs and it’ll forever bother me, the movement just looks a bit awkward 🤥 also the shoulder/ chest area seems a bit limited, almost forced in a locked position, especially in full gallop and the rear.. idk I love the model and coats but the animations just feel a bit stiff, I hate to say it 😩
DANKE thank the Lord hab sooo lange draif gewartet 💕
That flaxen chestnut is coming home with me.
The horse at 4:14 has a very similar marking to Raleigh Link’s horse Link…idk if anyone else noticed that or knows who she is but I just can’t get it out of my head it looks sm like it
Edit: I just looked at Raleigh’s channel and omg the markings are exactly the same! I think Sso took inspiration from her horse cause every detail of the marking is in this horse
I agree, the gaits are stiff, but i adore this horse already. The gaits remind me of the gen 2 Hanoverian. I love this tho 🤍
I am obsessed!! I love the coat colors on these horses, they are so beautiful
These horses are coming out on March 13th0🎉
I have 10th march birthday🩷
I don't love that they leviatate when they jump, but otherwise? These are a great depiction of the breed.
They trot like an eventer (which is to say: not anything to write home about). Their gallop is weighty. The coats are fabulous.
As somebody that has previously been a show groom for a 3* eventer (whos show team had two chestnut selle Francais mares) i can genuinely say these feel very true to life... Except the jumps
Important info:
Most horses with really flashy gaits will not have the gallop needed for cross-country.
I'm definitely getting the grey one because it reminds me of my horse that we had to put down from a weird thing in her hoof
R.I.P Purda🕊🕊🌿
I love the small jump gate! Out of all the other gates to the breed that’s the e nicest thing
I do think I’m gonna get color 4 it’s such a nice coat
Sso didnt get that sport horses have long and spaced gaits, no that short stepping on the same place.
I think imma get the seventh coat color! I love them all tho so its hard to decide which one im going to get when they are released
When I saw the chestnut paint, I’m like:
THIS IS THE ONE 😂😁😁😁😁
And the gray one hehe
Gen 1 Selle français is still one of my favorite sso horses, even tho it's old
Great to see an updated 👏
Love seeing SSO's progression on their horses. Simple things as the wrinkles, veining, etc. Excited for this one. Hopefully the rear is polished up, the shoulder is a little wonky, but with another month for adjusting... looking forward to the end result.
I wasnt planning on getting this horse, but omg, the sooty buckskin pinto is everything 😍
The wobbly back legs when walking r so funny and the way it lands after a jump is so clumsy
I adore all the coat colors I'll probably wait to see the placeholder one then buy one so far my heart is saying gray 💚💚💚
💗😻 I'm definetly going to get these horses.
me , i love them too and im gonna get the pinto bucksin
Do you have any name ideas , plls. My idea is Sky guardian
So glad I’m saving star coins! ❤
Edit: In the mane what is that lil spot that just goes up while turning- 😂
Re really hope those gates are placeholders because those back legs are something else lol. Many of the animations look janky, stuttery, and unfinished.
They are still a work in progress, you'd have to dig through game files to be able to look at them like this
@@iridiumSerpent That is true, but for the past few years I have been watching spoilers they horse comes out pretty much exactly as the video shows.
Kind of wish this was the updated Starter.
Beautiful horse ❤❤
I hate the head position 😭 I don't know if they're supposed to look collected, but they look more like their heads are forcefully tied to their chest with an invisible string
Can we talk about the idle? The horse is finally MOVING 🎉
They look like the Dutch Warmbloods crossed with the Lippizaner.
I love the low jump! I LOVE IT
First! I love the sooty buckskin! It will defo be in my RRPs! The gaits look a little stiff in my opinion but, other than that I love them ❤
Hey!,
These are just my opinion's on the new Selle Francais.
WALK:
Look's stiff i hope the walk gait isn't unfinished because of the way it is it lowkey look's like a gen 2 model walk of a different breed can't name the breed though as i don't remember it.
TROT:
Very bouncy and stiff again the head doesn't move at all in this gait cold be a little more relaxed and easy going.
CANTER:
I actually kind of like this one it isn't that bad at all quite nice in fact realistic kind of.
SLOW GALLOP:
We're getting better! The gait's are becoming more realistic i like this gait a lot it's very nice!.
FAST GALLOP:
Nice! The same as slow gallop.
BACK UP/REVERSING:
Well footed but a little stiff neck could bend down a little more.
SPECIAL GAIT:
I really love this gait it's a small jumping gait for cavelletti's or what other people call bunny jump's! I really love this gait probably my favourite out of them all.
TROT JUMP:
Nice but stiff and very bouncy once again it has the over jump why do nearly all StarStableOnline (SSO) horse's have such an over jump? It make's role-pay's so unrealistic.
CANTER JUMP:
It's nice but the rear end goes up a lot higher then the front end when going over the jump, But i suppose it is in the breed.
SLOW GALLOP JUMP:
Nice but the over jump kind of put's me off but it look's nice!.
FAST GALLOP JUMP:
Nice still very high but i like it. It's the same as the slow gallop jump.
STOP:
Stiff but realistic.
REAR:
Kind of remind's me of some of the horse's rear's but it's still realistic kind of look's like it's mad or something.
SPECIAL MOVE:
Look's close to the arabian's special move.
IDLE:
Move's alot kind of like the belgian warmblood's but more.
COAT 1:
Flaxen Chestnut, Pretty but it look's very orange to me but i still like it or does it look red to me? i can't tell.
COAT 2:
Bay, I love bay's they're just adorable! I have alot of bay horse's in the game because their just adorable!.
COAT 3:
Fleabitten, Look's realistic and very nice! it's very pretty in my opinion.
COAT 4:
Chestnut Pinto, If i buy a Selle Francais it will most likely be this one because i like this coat alot you rarely get pinto coat's on the new horse's now.
COAT 5:
Black, I love this one it has an adorable black stripe on it's face!.
COAT 6:
Sooty Buckskin Pinto, This is adorable i like this one alot i might buy this one aswell! it's pretty! does anyone else agree?.
COAT 7:
Steel Grey, Look's a little strange i don't really like this coat but other people might.
STATS AND PRICE:
The Selle Francais will be sold at the Silverglade Manor? This is kind of classic as most of the new horse's well more sporty/eventing breeds are sold here.
PICE: 900 StarCoin's?! I thought since it's a new horse it would be 950 StarCoin's!.
STATISTICS:
STRENGTH: 3
DISCIPLINE: 2
SWIFTNESS: 0
ENDURANCE: 2
AGILITY: 2
OVERALL OPINION
I like this breed quite far and the statistic's are probably from when you just buy the Selle Francais.

For some reason, the gallop reminds me of a dog running 😅
This wasn't a breed I was interested in buying but now I think I changed my mind 😅 Especially te chestnut - it's the first chestnut I actually like after the welsh ponies.
i *need* this horse to be released asap im obsessed
me too
The last 3 coats are STUNNING
I love the coat colors a lot but I’m not really a fond of the gaits. Especially the trot reminds me of the trot the Jorvik ponies have at Fort Pinta 😂
Love them sm! Can't wait for them to be released. The fleebitten and tobiano(correct me if its not a tobiano) 😍
I need that white horse 😍😍
Might ask for SC on my BD
ever since the updated state machine, I absolutely hate the way almost ALL horses leave their jumping animation before they even land on the ground. the animation transitions between the jump and going back to the gait isn't smooth at all and you can clearly tell the sudden change of animation, as if there are frames missing...
edit - I also always use my jumping camera, otherwise the jumping looks way too unrealistic to me. You can see how the sso horses are weightless when jumping, it feels like they aren't using any strength or their hind legs for that matter
I love the tail in jumps
that chestnut pinto has almost the same face marking as RaleighLink's Link
I love them, but I honestly think they should improve their gates..
I love them, just the walk and trot are so stiff, and horse's don't bounce like that, they need they're back legs to push off of the ground but other than that these horses are amazing, I love the Idle animations, they give the horses life lol. I love that they can't stand still
Praying they work on them- the gaits are not it at all lol
