Gediz is like the best character of the whole show. Even Nare is annoying as hell! She must seek therapy again because she's obviously setting for the toxic choice again! I can't begin to imagine how you could prefer to ship her with Sancar ? What's is the point? Yes, he eventually could be a good dad but that doesn't make him less than a shitty husband who treated both Nare and Menekse like things. He promised Menekse that it will only be her, slept with her then kept running from her. It's not like he didn't have the time to think about it or that it happened before Nare gets back! He used her and broke her pride. This character is the worst macho, misogynistic, toxic, hater, controlling and neurotic person in the show. He's not far behind Akin.

I was watching the novel alone hoping that Nare and Gediz will be more than friends in the end, but I have decided to stop fooling myself, I know that this Turkish novel will end with the typical ending of the protagonist choosing the toxic relationship and the character who practically abused her psychologically and sometimes physically throughout the novel but she ends up forgiving him because she "loves him" and "they love each other".
