Great information yes it is long but the process has been answered for me. Will be using polyspan on my Strega. Got that kit from Brodak looks good except the landing gear blocks . Thanks for this video and your time to put it up here

I have this thick eliptical stunt wing, with thin tips. So i already have a problem with mono coat, shrinking it into shape, because it is more, a ball like shape. I think this polyspan is even stiffer..

Quick question. What kind of primer (rattle can) are you using for the Thunderbolt and that other stunt plane??

Hello ... great videos ... do you use shrinking/non shrinking nitrate or butyrate dope no attaching and initial 3 coats doping the open bays? I guess you dope the open bays after heat shrinking of course?

@@Stunthangar Hi ... hard to get butyrate in the UK. I guess Nitrate would work though? Will give it a try. There are 3 grades of Polyspan available in the UK (Free Flight Supplies). The medium one is 24grams/sq mtr. Any idea what the density of the stuff you use is? Cheers

I've watched both your PolySpan vid's and you never cover what you do about doping the open bays. i usually shoot these with a spray gun of 50/50 to help keep from getting build up drip thrus from one side to the other. Is that what you do with yours as well?

I brush 50-50 over the whole wing 3 coats then start spraying

can the polyspan be dye somehow? perhaps drop dye in the dope. I just don't want to paint after. a bit of color should be sufficient for me.
