Such a nice video! As someone who lives in the capital area of Finland I guess I have grown used to what Helsinki looks like and don't even realize its beauty... but hearing you praising it is making me realize that hey... it actually is quite pretty :)
Watching this video made me homesick for my second home… omg 😱🇫🇮. I didn’t know you are in Finland, that is so cool. I wish I was there (and I was a couple of months ago with mom) but 1 month in the summer doesn’t feel long enough anymore now that I’m legally a Finnish! PROTIP: I’ve been to Finland 4 times now so I feel a bit like a pro… my advise is that your first night there… especially when coming overseas, you need to be in bed trying to get as much sleep as you can. Not running around the city. I know it’s hard to do that first night but you must try you’ll have energy for the next day and get over jet lag much more quickly. I know that first night is exciting but I also am fully aware of the impossibility of sleeping on a plane. I am happy for you and hope you enjoy your time, get plenty of rest and I will be following the journey at home in Georgia 🇺🇸!
¡Great! Finland could really use some kanadalainen ratsupoliisi patrolling, keeping the polar bears off the streets of Mannerheimintie. Most welcome to Fine land, our Canadian brethren!
Hey Roy👋 I was a little worried about you after seeing your last video. I hope Finland treats you well and things will get easier. This video made me smile and I hope you will find that joy again what you clearly had two years ago. Mukavaa syksyä! 😊
That´s great to hear! Also very nice that you are honest about your feelings. Things are not always easy and fun, but good times will feel so much better after some hard times. 😊
@@RoyRissanen Well isn't that the best part? No carrot boxes, better i icehockey and soccer...etc. ..and the wonderful multicultural cities, I mean how else would you get shootings and bombings almost everyday. Isn't that hust soo exciting?
How fascinating how you ended up being so polite apologizing 'anteeksi' to a guy who nearly runs you over with his bike. Also, it's hard (even for me) walking past an ice-cream section nowadays without proclaiming ' Salmiakki ice-cream' out loud, such is the power of your catch phrase! Wait .. is that the "granite house" of the Helsinki Phone Company (now Elisa)?? .. I'm pretty sure it is.. HPY kind of owned all the buildings at that block back in the 90's/early 2000's. x)
First I was confused about how you two aren't using masks, but then I realized "it has been recorded in Fall of 2019". I'll be waiting more of vlogging by your side. This 2019 recording is still pretty interesting. I'm eager to follow continuation to this. Kiinnostaa tietää, mitä nyt 2021 teille kuuluu 👍?
I'm 30 years old, lived in Helsinki my whole life, I've never seen rats nor micie, I've seen a single fox and.. rabbits ofc. When I've visited the countryside I've seen just about every animal you can counter here in Finland. But that's that (cool experieces though).
Yes, there are a fair number of rats in Halifax. Every morning when I would go for a run though town they were busy to get back into the gutters and then there were the unlucky ones that met with car tires over night that the crows would come and take care of. :/

I worry sometimes that it may become familiar to me as well. :/
Wonderful video👍😊!
We Finns should appreciate our country more. I hope this country treats you well. Stay safe and enjoy the atmosphere in Helsinki.
Thank you Marjo. Yes, things are going well. :)

ha.. sounds like a great idea but I thought a run would be better then laying in bed awake for four hours.
Thanks for watching. :)
Great video Roy, always a pleasure to see your content
Thank you Danny.
Very interesting video. The curious is that we see few people walking the streets of Helsinki. (Brazil)

Ha! Stayed in the same hotel last summer 😄 Helsinki is a beautiful city and small enough that you won't get lost after two days.
Fairly easy to get around now but the first day or so I really had no idea where I was. ha..
Hyvä Roy! Tervetuloa!
Kiitos :)

Nice, but where your mask 😷?
Check the dates.
A much simpler time, about six months before it all started.
Ok,im sorry
@@jari887 No worries. It was a much easier time to travel. And now with the situation they were not able to film another season of that show.
