I like it when the ppl he makes jokes on from tv come on for the skits. Just makes it funnier and more light hearted, cus there’s just no hard feelings. Love this show.
Yeah I think that might have been deliberate product placement. It feels like it. There's a lot of standards in place for product placement but it's not stopped ITV from taking the piss x
Think fresh. Think Harvester. God, the imagination to come up with this and use it in such an ingenious way. This was such a great show. Don’t try this at home, cos it’s a joke.
It's unusual for me to be looking at fish, being as last year I was catching them, and, uh - this year, I don't seem to have had five minutes to go and do any fishing; but I do appreciate how lovely they are. It'd be nicer to sit out here on a lovely sunny day, watching the fish, having a glass of wine or a cup of tea - I'm a tea man, myself, but I like the odd bit of Lambrusc-y, eh? Kwoar-yeah! Anyway - gotta get on.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

Can you come on and say the exact same thing? We’ll pay £500 and free travel and hotel… oh ok then
Fun fact. That piece to camera he did about Harvester actually helped increase Harvester’s revenue that month. XD
Why do I remember that joke all these years later?

me too lol
On a massive TV Burp marathon myself. Taking the edge off things.
Is it a side effect of corona?
@ soSAMuk's UK slot channel long live the comedy king 👑
@@comicbookdude Apparently so! I'm on a binge myself right now!
Man, we didn't deserve a show this good. Tv gold
Harry hill originally trained as a doctor. Don't know why my brain thought that it made the cucumber clamping funnier
Same with Lee Nelson. He’s a PhD and has a TV programme doing skits and characters. Both hilarious.
OMG Saturday nights were the best this show made me laugh so much there are so many memorable moments
(Dancing Queen Victoria Bust EG) 😂
I was at the recording of that very episode at the original BBC Television Centre.
Bbc? This was on ITV...

Mel C also did it.
