I think this is not their complete masterpiece in the Sinulog Grand Mardi Gras. Dance, gracefullness is perfect. Their not totally showing their complete props. Watch out Talisay, in the Grand Mardi Gras. Ambot lang ug manimaho. This is how Carcar play their game.
Mas deserving manalo ang car2. Kong ang mga judges sa grand finale focus sila sa dance clarity and performance daog ni ang car2. Ang linis and very synchronize.
Sobrang ganda, malinis, emphatically choreographed, on timing at schronized ang lahat from the beginning until the end to the props and to the dancers. Wow 😲 good job 👍 Carcar Contingent! Kayo ang deserving maging grand winner eh nonetheless t’was the best. Goodluck sa grand parade! 👏👏👏
nindut pero mas nindut ang Talisay.. but who knows mabali na sad ang placing pag abut sa Mardi Gras like last year though Talisay this time has better chances to place ahead of carcar ;-)
Nabali gihapon man. I think dapat na jud iresearch sa talisay ang kung unsa ang patok sa mga judges since ang judges last year ug karon parehas parehas raman. By the way, taga carcar ko but taga talisay pud. So bilib gihapon ko sa duha no matter what.
Unfortunately, wala na typi ang concept sa Talisay pag abot sa Grand Parade. Medyo "may kilabot" daw and that is not sinulog. The grand parade judges focused more on the performance and choreography. Carcar won because the whole dance superb and it is "sinulog", meaning the veneration to Snr. Sto Niño was there althroughout the performance. Talisay needs more experience.
The choreographer was a dancer of SWU so shes basically not copying but following his sensei's footsteps. :) Her sensei must be so proud coz she brought back the original sinulog dance to the competition this year. Proud carcaranon and talisaynon here.

I was expecting them to win. But the breakings during their performance was too much. They have clean steppings but no clear DANCE steps. I hope they'll lessen the "actions"/drama this Mardi Gras so it wont mix up with the dance or make them separate. You can hear the snare drum always rolling for their breakings. It made their clean dance lousy to look.

I am a fan of sinanduloy and carcar but i don't find both copying each other. Choreography palang ani sir, lahi ra! Ang sinulog steps lahi ra sad. Ang nakaparehas sa duha is puros limpyo ug maayo manayaw gyud. Di magsalig sa props.

It just happened that sinduloys was the contingent who have had establish a Name in sinulog than carcar thats why you are now comparing carcar to sinanduloy. But i tell you carcar city never failed to give a mind blowing performance since they joined sinulog.
