- Welcome!
I've been requested to do a tutorial of 5 A.M solo by David Gilmour, its not something that I usually do and I'm probably not the best at it either, but I hope this will be useful to some.
After learning the solo you can head over to my channel and find a backing track here : • 5 A.M - David Gilmour ...
Hope you liked it, more videos coming soon! Видеоклипы

Thank you so much for taking the time to produce and post this walk through. One of my favourite Gilmour solos and can now play it thanks to this tutorial. Great stuff

Thank You!
O melhor tutorial que encontrei aqui
Excelente el método. Muchas gracuas
Gracias*
You got that tone on point!
In big part its because of the P90 pickups, you should try them out if you get the chance!
Really helpful video Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thank you, I'm really glad it was helpful to you, I'm not the best at tutorials.
Very well done son. The man is impressed I’m sure.
I'm glad it was helpful!
Right on, man
Yes! Thanks very much!
I hope it will help!
SoloExperience it certainly will, thanks mate.
After all, it seems that you are the best at it! You liar! ;-) Well, congratulations! You nailed it... very deep! 90 something percent! Amazing. And the sound is 100% ;-) Perfect. Well done! And thank you for the inspiration.
Well, I definitely didn't intend for the lesson videos to be my most popular ones, but I'm glad you and other people find them helpful. Now you just need to upload your cover for everyone to see the results :D
great! thank you!
I'm glad it was helpful, thanks!
Yes. I was here! Hahaha love this!! You even used the p90 LP!
P90 are great, although the bass is a bit difficult to tame :D
You nailed it either way. Great job
Thx soooo much Buddy
I'm glad you found it useful, cheers!
Wow. That is awesome man. No doubts. You have it down. Lol
Thanks, I hope it was helpful!
Hello.! Congratulations, really good. !!
Can you have the TAB on which you studied?
Tanks so much!
Hi there, sorry but I dont have any TAB's for this, I studied the song all by ear.
Very good! Excellent tutorial.. I have been wanting to learn this and I did! Thank you. Wondering how you got that tone.. just reverb and a bit of overdrive on the neck pickup?
Hi! I'm glad it helped you. This was a while ago so I don't quite remember the exact settings but it's pretty much just reverb, very mild overdrive/volume booster. The P90 pickups do a lot as well. I recommend checking gilmourish.com for exact settings
Thank you
You're very welcome, glad it helped.
@@soloexperience4237 It certainly did 😁❤❤❤
I Like David Gilmour
He is my favorite guitar player :D
Y tienes de la guitarra acústica?
Hi, effects??? Amp??? Good Tone!!!
Hi there, I'm using Fender Mustang I, I think i´ve basically used a volume boost and some delay and thats all.
ey buddy excelent video you have the tabs?
Hi there, unfortunately I never used tabs but perhaps you can find them online.
Great job do wish there was some tab
I actually never used tabs myself unfortunately, I would definitely included them if I did knew anything about them, I hope the tutorial was easy enough to understand though!
No biggie but my memory is not the best :) and your version is not on web and I like yours the best
i try to play it on a fender strat and nope can't make it work.
Ideally you want to play it on p-90 pickups but I can imagine you can make it work on some humbuckers too
Tabs would be much appreciated
Sorry but I have never used tabs, im sure you can find them somewhere online.
from 4.24 wrong note at passage
Can you please show us how it’s done ???
This is not a vibrato!
5.33 many wrong notes)
I don't really see the point of the comment, if I'm wrong then correct me and help people learn the right notes, although I don't hear the mistakes you're talking about.
4.24 - B - D. check yourself, your second note is wrong. And do not thank me, because you need to praise here).
I wasn't planing on thanking you for anything, you haven't really provided anything of value to anyone here, and I also don't know who you want me to praise to, anyway I'll be waiting for your tutorial of the song so I can correct my mistakes, cheers.
That is, the mistake I made is not obvious to you? Option 2. Either you have problems with hearing, or problems with stubbornness). On the other hand, writing training videos for solo, not knowing how to play this solo correctly, is somewhat presumptuous. Otherwise, good luck and success.
Don't you have anything better to do than critising people? If you think that the notes are wrong, why don't you make a tutorial? I'll be waiting for yours. I hope it's perfect, MrEug23.
