I pretty much HATE the term "self care" because I don't think most humans truly have an issue with not thinking of themselves enough. So this video is what I do other than typical "self care."

I wish I would have had your videos while I was raising my 9 kiddos. So much good content! I was a stay at home mom for 15 years. Then I worked nights on the weekend which was a good shift for a mom. My kids are now ages 41 to 56. 🥰❤️

I would never get anything done if I took care of me first. That being said, I waited way too long to start working out again---- I'm doing it for my children not for myself. I been feeling so yuck and tired all the time. Working out has change that. But my family, meals, home, homeschool do take priority. I think the mindset should be true self care like sleep & working out instead of wordly self care which can look like indulgence and neglecting the family to have a girls weekend.

I’ve poured from an empty cup and I’ve been able to care for my kids and before I had kids the kids I worked with as a pre school teacher!!! I’ve found I’ve been. Full filled doing what I’m called to do!!! I feel like healthy living just enables me to have the energy to care for others!!! When I read the Daniel plan I learned that healthy living just enables us to be more caring!!! I only have 1 kid in club sports and that’s cos he’s obsessed with sport!!! I purposed in my heart that my kids will grow up in the faith but it’s not easy!!! I agree with you that we live for God and he comes 1st!!! My older son and daughter gets that but my other kids not so much at the moment!!! This is so encouraging!!!
