This gets me really sad. I don't have cancer but it makes me think. What if I got it? What would I do. Everyone in my moms side has gotten sick. What if I get it too? And... ya know? Sometimes I wish I could go to a hospital and hug and give a present to everyone.
You could donate to Make A Wish. It means Alot. It's really an amazing experience for kids with life-threatening disease such as cancer. I have had childhood cancer as well as a Make A Wish. It really is amazing. Consider it, because you mentioned hugging people and giving them presents.

This song really hits close to home from me, I have a friend who has Lung cancer and it's been getting significantly worse lately. I always liked this song but it also has a very sad story behind it, and I feel like Halocene's voice really captures the essence of the song in it's own way.

I just want to share a little story. First of all, my grandparents on my mother's side have both passed away from cancer, so the song is very emotional to me. A few days ago I came across your cover, and I began singing along with you. for some reason or another, my singing woke my kitten up. She started looking around the room, once her eyes found me she jumped out of her bed and onto my bed. She climbed up my body until her nose was touching mine and begin licking my face as if to say "it's okay." I wasn't crying until she did that. she must have sensed the emotion in the song. just thought I would share.

To him, kissing in songs is almost always romantic, and there's never anything about kissing your family; but in this song, about someone who's dying, Tyler believes the most important thing that could ever be talked about is the love and support of your family. That's why they focused on that lyric so much: because of the emotion, not in spite of it. MCR wrote a great song, ToP created a wondeful arrangement -- both for all the right reasons -- and now Halocene has made it their own. Everyone deserves credit, everyone deserves praise for this

Recently I learned that three girls that go to my dance studio are about to lose their dad due to cancer. I never liked them but now I just feel horrible for them because, yes, they might be popular at the studio but that doesn’t change the fact that they don’t have emotions as well. I just hope that they make it through everything and that they stay strong

Less than 2 weeks later on October 4th he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Just 4 weeks later on November 8th (only 9 days after my 26th birthday), I lost the strongest person I've ever known. Friday will make a year that he's been gone and hearing this song has me crying my eyes out right now just thinking about him. You did a beautiful cover.

I'm stressed and overwhelmed, trying to prepare for a Fourth of July event I'm part of as a vendor, all while dealing with an injured ankle, and then this came up on Spotify where I'm scouring for your work (recent fan). I had no warning what I was in for because I wasn't looking at the screen, and I genuinely could not tell this wasn't an original, with how very personal it sounded to you. I'd never heard of this song, either version, and even if you cut out the failed attempts to get through the song without crying, I could still hear those tears. I have cried those tears too many times to not recognize them when I hear them. I lost my Right Partner of almost twelve years in October of 2018 to breast cancer. She's indirectly the reason I participate in the event on the Fourth, and every year since then (except 2020), the mid-to-end of June is a jumbled mess of rushing around and having to stop occasionally to remember why I do this. This reminded me. Her apology towards the end over the pain her illness had caused me. How her last words to me were "I love you." How I kept my promise that I'd be holding her hand when she went and I still don't always know what would've hurt more; not having to hear that final breath, and then hold mine, hoping to hear one more, or to not have been there, to let my last memory of her be that smile and those words. It hurt, but thank you for reaching past the rush on my own projects to remember why I'd started doing my annual stress month. I needed it.

Okay, consider a song as a feeling. MCR interpret this "feeling" as the original Cancer, and TOP interprets it as just like this one. The one who got more credits is the one who can move you with their interpretation of this feeling. Between them, I love this cover better. Really moving and brought me to tears.

This is a beautiful cover. I heard the original MCR version when I was in middle school and my mother was doing a round of chemotherapy. I cried when I heard it. This cover, I have to say, is better than the original. It really gives the song more meaning and more of an emotional touch. Great job. :)

this is like the other cover of this song that makes me cry every time. it's so emotional and beautiful. you have a great voice. I've had so many family members that died of cancer it ain't even funny. So this makes me think of how they must've felt. it's a great song. I love it. so so much.

I'm stressed and overwhelmed, trying to prepare for a Fourth of July event I'm part of as a vendor, all while dealing with an injured ankle, and then this came up on Spotify where I'm scouring for your work (recent fan). I had no warning what I was in for because I wasn't looking at the screen, and I genuinely could not tell this wasn't an original, with how very personal it sounded to you. I'd never heard of this song, either version, and even if you cut out the failed attempts to get through the song without crying, I could still hear those tears. I have cried those tears too many times to not recognize them when I hear them. I lost my Right Partner of almost twelve years in October of 2018 to breast cancer. She's indirectly the reason I participate in the event on the Fourth, and every year since then (except 2020), the mid-to-end of June is a jumbled mess of rushing around and having to stop occasionally to remember why I do this.
This reminded me. Her apology towards the end over the pain her illness had caused me. How her last words to me were "I love you." How I kept my promise that I'd be holding her hand when she went and I still don't always know what would've hurt more; not having to hear that final breath, and then hold mine, hoping to hear one more, or to not have been there, to let my last memory of her be that smile and those words.
It hurt, but thank you for reaching past the rush on my own projects to remember why I'd started doing my annual stress month. I needed it.
