I didn't realize how much Lulu went through with her mom. 😕 I love her mom, and she's very open about her depression, but i didn't realize how bad it got. Im glad her mom seems to be so much better. ❤

This episode was so real and honest. I have watched Lulu for years and didn't know all the struggles she has gone through and it shows how strong she is. You can see how much growth she has had and how emotionally intelligent she is. Life can bring you so much joy and struggles and that's what makes us who we are. And you're right God gives you what you need and not what you want and it's up to you to make it a positive thing!
I was diagnosed with heart failure at only 28 and given 2 years to live but I fought my way through hell and back and I'm not dying from heart failure, I'm LIVING my life to the fullest (with heart failure) and am turning 40 this year (12 years later)! Thank God! Blessings to everyone! Never give up hope even through the darkest times!

What all did you do to reverse it?
My husband is having heart palpitations and it worries me
@inolvidable18e I honestly haven't reversed it. It's still terminal. I kept seeking many doctors' opinions until I found one to advocate and give me the chance to fight. He was willing to give me trial medications that were not the typical route that most doctors prescribe, until we found one that worked and was able to stop my heart failure from progressing as quickly as it was. If you know what you're going through is wrong and doctors keep telling you that you're fine it's up to you to be your own health advocate. Alot of times we are misdiagnosed and the medical and health system is supposed to be advanced but it's not always the case when doctors don't take the time to look at every possibility and actually listen to what you are feeling. They kept telling me it was in my head and I was fine but I never gave up trying new doctors. Unfortunately when I was finally diagnosed there was so much damage done to my heart and that's why I was only given months to live but thankfully I found a doctor that didn't give up trying with me. He has saved me and I am blessed and forever grateful to find him because I'm a single mom and need to be around for my daughter.
I would say see a cardiology for your husband's heart palpitations and i hope you find answers!
La comadre Lulu is right we don't understand our moms until you become one. The resentment just starts to fade away.
Or you start to realize you never want to be like her and promise yourself and your children to always put them first regardless of the situation 🩷
This is a reminder that people can’t just comment/say mean things without thinking about the outcome. Everyone has been through something and you don’t know exactly what they’ve been through! Let’s be human, kind, caring, and compassionate 🫶🏼

LULU OUR STORY IS THE SAME YOUR NOT ALONE MAMITA. I stopped my mom so many times from taking her life. I was so young. I remember going to visit my mom is the Wards. I remember being there and seeing all the people she would be around and she looked ok, I was the one always home to care for her. I missed so many childhood events because I felt like if I would leave her, What if she would do something to herself then it would be my fault. My brother and sister would just leave. Sending you so much love
I respect her so much more after her mom’s story.. followed her since day 1, love her so much ❤
People like her remind me it does get better. Ironically I watch her because of how happy and positive she always is and to know that she was suffering at such a young age is so sad. Exactly. She’s always so positive and literally so sweet. She transmits so much kindness through the camera. Also the love and support she gives her family and love ones is admirable. That’s why I get so upset when when I see trolls leaving unnecessary comments under her videos. Like keep it moving. If you don’t like her or support her stop watching. They watch her and keep up with her because they like her and don’t want to admit it. They hate on her and project.

Lulu , please do not invalidate your emotions and how you felt during those moments of attempts. Everyone story is different that has led them to a psych ward. Do not invalidate your emotions because they are valid on why you felt that way. Even though we may have a “perfect good life” does not mean we do not have struggles that take control. There’s no amount of “perfect or non perfect life” to invalidate your own feelings. This is the most vulnerable interview you’ve done , thank you for sharing 🫶🏼

Dealing with a depressive parent is so hard specially when they refuse to believe in therapy.

I did not know about her at all prior to this, but I feel like she was so raw and authentic, and I felt so seen and validated on issues that she discussed because I went through some stuff with my parents as well. It was really refreshing to feel understood and for awareness for others. That they are not alone, and to seek help when things hit the fan. She’s so real and she’s so strong to be able to talk about it and how she was able to turn her life around. I have so much respect for her and I definitely will be following her after this. WhenShe talks about her mom kinda got to me because I can relate. It reminds me and my daughter she would me this way and then after seeing YOU go through that when you were younger and then saying that you didn’t have a childhood makes me realize a lot that need to seek help mentally so my baby can be a child … im sorry you went thru that 😢 made me cry

Wow Comadre. Thank you Lulu for sharing your story with us 🫶🏻 . You know I never once related to something more in my life than the experience she also went through with your mom. When you put it like that and you’re looking at it from a different perspective, I understand it completely. I never knew how to explain it but the way you worded what you went through was very similar to what I go through and until now I feel like like I’m fully grasping it. I knew that sadness existed when I looked at my mom and now I’m able to piece things together and it’s definitely something I’ll be talking to her about.. but thank you really for sharing ❤

Same here comadre, that's how my relationship with my mom is now, and I'm an adult and its overwhelming, I cant imagine as a kid. I wish that she knew how damaging it can be, but I cant turn my back on her when she's down, so here I am as her therapist, giving marital/self reflecting advice to my parents. its a lot of pressure to deal with.
