That was a lot of water falling down the rocks. I love watching your Chanel. Dopey is so adorable. Thank you for your time and filming, editing, and downloading.
I just love Dopey. His mom tolerates him very well. Wish I could cuddle both of them. What a sweet relationship they have. Thanks Arroz sharing these wonderful creatures with the world.
For sure Reddy is one of the very best mommas a baby Macaque can ever hope for. She allows ample room for learning and developing 🥰. I just love watching those creatures. Thank you so much for sharing 😁
14:22 precious! those leaves are too tough for that little baby! look at Mama teaching him what he can eat and cannot... that is the sweetest thing I have ever seen! he has such a sweet Spirit, he is so obedient. I mean you know, he's a normal kid and he's going to fight back when she's weaning him but really he just goes with the flow ... pretty much! he has such a sweet temperament. his mom is so patient and kind with him, it's so sweet to watch
That was so cute! I loved the way Reddy is trying to make him into a big boy and then at about 9:43 he is crotch up in her face like "mom!, My private ITCHES! FIX it PLEASE!". Then toward the end when he has been working at getting a leaf forever (we have all seen him be more successful a lot faster before) and she pulls him in to nurse like "You tried so hard my big boy!". I just adore these two! Please let Dopey be ok! !
Well I just can't figure out why Dooey would ever wanna be a face hugger. Bwahaha. 😆 Oh, and glad to see he is retaining a tiny bit of his clumbsy self. He still manages to remember to trip over his feet for us.
6:49 dopey gettin a lil sporty, a bit demanding and disrespectful! and then ... hold for it hollllld forrrrrrr ittttt ... 6:51 HAHAHAHAHA LOLL dopey gets a BIG surprise!!! he gets knocked on his backside!
I miss watching Dopey as baby. I rewatch these as I love seeing him grow up. DOPEY is now 6.. and in a new troop as adult males do leave maternal troop. So Dopey is 6 and in skullhead's troop now.
Very good families mummy love their babies and care for them all the time it is very good video thank you for your video they all very good God Bless them all keep strong and healthy ,
Reddy is a slim mommy maybe why Dopey is so tiny, any more of Reddy s kids around. I wonder why he's tiny. he reminds me of a little guy with adhd. no compensation of the word "no" spastic, one track mind yet forgets. I just love him. I just hope he makes it. maybe, just maybe the baby snatcher will scoop him up when he needs to be on his own. I sit here and I worry about him. ya get attached here know what I mean. any who, I will stop typing my worries out loud. Remember Batty when he qas soo little. yea i worried about him, still do. But its all good. help distract every day life. a BIG Thank You for bringing them all into our lives. one more thing, I loved how they all showed up and jumped down just before they got to you, was like they were all greeting you.
God Bless the sweet, precious miracles called babies & infants. Lord, look over & protect these innocent Angels & their Mom's; & give strength & courage to those unable to bear babies.

This must be the first Dopey since I am now watching a male baby because I was watching a video on a female baby Dopey then clicked on this one thinking it followed.
?? RUclips 's automatic play function is utterly confusing with its random recommendation. 7:27 hey! that's the first time I've ever seen a mama turn towards the camera and bite the baby during weaning like that! I can't believe it! It's like she really does know you and allowed you to witness something that normally they do not allow us to witness ... they always turn away from the camera to discipline them! tell me! am I wrong? I can't believe it!
Can somebody tell me, how the "baby snatcher monkey" can feed, milk, or suckle if you will if she's snatching others babies in the past? I never have seen her with one of her own. Earlier in this video I saw the female baby start to suckle on the baby snatcher monkey so that's why I'm asking. Thanku
ShannonDamnit I think Arroz mentioned somewhere in his commentary, that the infant she's nursing in this video is hers & also, that she's the only female infant of the group. In beginning of the video, I think.
Dopey's a male, right? At 7'12", you refer to him as female. Oversight, maybe? And I don't know if you watch other great ape videos, but you refer to the orangutan. The phenomena you describe is called _Baby Schema_, and includes infant features such as the round face, over-sized forehead, over-sized eyes, smallish, round nose, etc., and studies have shown humans are attracted to these features in not only human infants, supposedly releasing some _nurturing_ response, but also adults with these features are deemed more attractive, as well as infants in cat and dog species, which is why they think we have them as pets. it sure would explain why animal trafficking is now such a lucrative business, with great apes being one of the most sought-after commodities. Baby Chimps, Bonobos and Gorillas also have the baby schema. I've seen some video suggest that females are attracted to the male apes quicker if they have these features and will be more willing to submit herself to the dominant male for breeding. I mostly think psychology is crap, but it sure makes for interesting discussion in this area. :) How close do they usually let you get to the babies? They don't even acknowledge your presence, unless you're just so far away they can't see you. Oh, and how are you pronouncing _Baty_? Are you saying it like _catty_ and _batty_? Normally, to produce the short _a_ sound, the median consonant is doubled, but this isn't. Or is it supposed to be like _baby_ or _Katey_, the _e_ making it a long _a_? Having trouble knowing how this one should be pronounced since it doesn't fit most standard rules and it's driving me bonkers. ;) Oh, and srry, but one more thing. You say that "Reddy is emboldened by your presence". What do you mean by that? She was just sitting there with the others. Does she normally hide or something? I really wish there were some way to administer something like garlic or brewer's yeast in their diet to stop the fleas. They scratch themselves so much they have to be miserable. :( Thanks.
The same schema is well known also too many cartoon and manga artists hence their protagonists usually have such features that are immediately endearing to their viewers. In many anatomy textbooks there's also a chapter comparing the skull of a baby to an adult and it makes for some interesting reading, It's pronounced as Batty but I omit the " t " to make it less feminine like " Betty ". Normally Reddy would avoid the baby-snatcher and the dominant male - but she stayed put as she didn't want to miss any chance that I might give treats ! I think the way they groom each other it's unlikely there would be much ectoparasites left - really I think they groom each other for sweat crystals - rich in NaCl and other minerals - hard to come by if you live in the mountains.
It's not as well-known as you think. At least here, it's an obscure ideology that only those who have studied psychology would be familiar with and know. But yes, am fascinated by any kind of objective idea that seems to shift with the viewer. One example of this is the psychology behind colour theory, and how it affects mood. The other I learned was before I began acting on television sit-coms in acting class, and how neutrality is perceived by the viewer. The viewers were shown three people with the same neutral expression, and to watch the viewer's personal biases come out as they projected onto the images were pretty fascinating. Was that animation yours? I've never heard of Betty being less feminine. To be honest, I think it's over-thinking the name and causing some confusion, but it's your prerogative and that's just my opinion, which means nothing in the end. :) It certainly doesn't diminish your wonderful videos. :D I see what you mean about Reddy now; thanks for clarification. I know the ones I've seen have had pounds of them on them, and fleas jump so fast from one subject to another they're extremely hard to detect. We actually studied them in early physics classes, and then scaled their velocity and height, and by comparison, they can jump something like 7-story buildings, and they rarely have a linear velocity since they jump vertically. The Journal of Mammaltology published an article by H. E. Ewing in 1935 that debunked the Sodium Chloride crystals theory, by showing that sweat layers on skin would form crystals, if at all, that would be much too minute for a monkey's eyes to see. My actual issue was in their scratching, and this theory only addressed their grooming tendencies. But, this published article showed the desire for salty-tasting things was actually sweat residue that forms at the base of the hair shaft, and not from crystals that may form on the skin. And on that note, I just found something incredibly interesting. As I previously stated, I'm studying primates but haven't covered some aspects yet. In a National Geographic article that was published in 2013, two popular theories were introduced about why Macaques constantly scratch. And with some of the themes of your videos, I figured you might find number 1 *_very_* interesting. ;) First, it should be noted that these animals are always suffering from severe levels of stress, which I was unaware of. For animals in the middle of their hierarchy, the interactions with those at the top and those at the bottom just seem to stress them out. And I mean, at SEVERE stress levels. I need to look more into the pscyhology of what's happenign to cause it, since it sounds interesting, but for now, it's enough to know that it exists. And there are a few ways they deal with it. Similarly, macaques scratch themselves more if they are stressed, perhaps, he said, because the repetitive physical action is also a calming factor."_ GOOD STUFF! Cheers.
I feel so sorry for the little female who was sterilized!! Why don't you find a little stuffed animal for her.. see if she would latch onto it~~ I don't know.. just want to make her look happier!! They truly ruined her life!!!! So Sad!!!
Wait, I read below where some asked, how would the baby snatcher feel if another monkey stole her own. I never knew she ever had her own or Atleast this time around bc I've never seen her with one like that up until now with the little female baby. If she does have her own then I wonder why she tries to steal other babies along the way? I don't see other monkeys doing that. Esp. Mother monkeys.
ShannonDamnit I thought the same thing. She wants to deal with 2 babies at the same time? And also where is her baby at when she's trying to steal the others?
I think this is her very own baby. She got pregnant around November time last year and gave birth to this baby girl this year - as her hands are now full now she really can't get back to stealing others as much as she wants !
Yeah, I thought the same. But I read that the wild rhesus macaques begin to wean the babies at about 4 months old. I think Baty is about 4 months but she looks tiny compared to the boys!
Dopey, Reddy, Baty, Stumpy etc. may all be low ranking ( I know their rank counts in their world ) but they are all number one with you and all of us ...... Reddy is such a good mommy...... what did that face the new mom was making at the end of the video mean also when they do a tubal is that when they notch their ears?
Baty and Dopey can rise the ranks all the way to the top, not in this troop but in some troop, someday. Well, Dopey... who knows. He'll have great stories later in life "...and fearlessly I approached the sacred acorns no other would have been nearly brave enough to get near..." Ha!
+Sharron grissom they tattoo their chest when they do tubal(same as spay-sterilize) 11:42 you can see a 7. I believe the notch is vaccine(rabies?not sure) to keep from spreading a disease to humans since they're in close contact. Arroz posted a link somewhere in comments for this video
That was a lot of water falling down the rocks. I love watching your Chanel. Dopey is so adorable. Thank you for your time and filming, editing, and downloading.

Well I just can't figure out why Dooey would ever wanna be a face hugger. Bwahaha. 😆 Oh, and glad to see he is retaining a tiny bit of his clumbsy self. He still manages to remember to trip over his feet for us.
Another great video! You crack me up😄 with the face climbing " dopey dont mess moms hairdo up for milk" lol
I do love watching your videos so relaxing just watching these monkeys with out any torment act keep filing my friend
Ah Dopey as a young-in, I remember him so well at this age. Look at those back feet! They were so huge before he grew into them, so stinking cute.
Momma seen he was trying to get something to eat after watching him fight with the bush she gave in I have really enjoyed this video thanks
Messing mums hairdo. Haha. LOL. You're so funny Arroz!!
Dopey has the same look in his eyes that my kids do when they are aggravating mama on purpose! Lol
6:49 dopey gettin a lil sporty, a bit demanding and disrespectful!
and then ... hold for it
hollllld forrrrrrr ittttt ...
6:51 HAHAHAHAHA LOLL dopey gets a BIG surprise!!! he gets knocked on his backside!
That is one thing Dopey and Tiny have in common is sheer determination.
Dopey reminds me of a flea. Every time you flick it off of you, it jumps right back on.
I miss watching Dopey as baby. I rewatch these as I love seeing him grow up. DOPEY is now 6.. and in a new troop as adult males do leave maternal troop. So Dopey is 6 and in skullhead's troop now.

7:28 Reddy is done with being Dopeys jungle gym!!!!
Dopey is such a cutie.
Dopey is one adorable little fella.
Good video as always. I think Dopey is improving his skills.
Dopey just doesn't quiet does he? One bite from mama is enough for me! He's still the cutest baby!
Good luck Reddy trying to wean your kid! He'll be 5 years old and still nursing lol
8:54 awww Bossy's eyes are pleading for a "treat"!

James Simms الله يبارك العديد من القرود هنا وأيضا جيمس James Sims دائماً وإلى الأبد!
Dopey is living the baby life he was born to live. It’s a beautiful thing to watch him and Reddy enjoying life, exploring and learning.

Those are the ones i like watching also lol
Tread lightly Jack Caldwell.............lets just say i have read some of your comments on other primate channels
marsha solomon and what is that suppose to mean, don't be bashful if you have a something to say , don't be bashful about it! I know what I have said on most of everyone threads!
marsha solomon I am still waiting on why a 6'8 man should tread lightly! Little secret , I never denie anything I say, so I say bring it! You brought it up don't get shy now!

Dopey just doesn't quit does he? One bite from mama is enough for me! He's still the cutest baby!
Wow, the new mom could benefit from seeing a dentist, 17:00 poor girl!!
+Arroz Marisco At 10:21 You scared me! Then I could barely stop laughing. Alien attack! Reddy surely does get Mom of the Year Award! Glad to see the Baby Snatcher has her own now (well, we hope it's her own)
I wonder what goes into the decision-making process of which ones to sterilize?
Had to come back for another round of Dopey videos. Miss the the little imp.
I just lov dopey😘
I've been watching your videos and I've been enjoying them. I don't feel like there is any manipulation of the monkeys by you. At least what I can tell. Thank you
I just wonder how the "Baby Snatcher" would feel if someone stole her baby girl???
Sandy Lenard sad
She is too high ranking. Would never happen.

in my playlist you'll be able to follow the troop and dopey and other babies chronologically.
9:16 he bit her!
I wonder why when they walk on that wall they have their hands over the edge whole time LOL
7:27 hey! that's the first time I've ever seen a mama turn towards the camera and bite the baby during weaning like that! I can't believe it! Was the baby's hand in Reddy's mouth when she pulled him down? The sterilized female looked so sad!!!!
Do the adults have tattoos on their chests? What do they mean? Dopey is so dang cute and Reddy is a good mom.
Who was the baby snapper and baby back then?
9:30 someone's somethingy is itchy!!!!!! Mom, take care of that....please!!!!!!!
She did at 9:50 I couldn't see the itchy bug but she did & it jumped onto her hand!!!!!
10:08 Dopey's somethingy thanks Reddy!!!! 😉😅
+Heather Hart, I have never heard that being called a 'somethingy'! That is truly hilarious! Good one!

I missed this info. If you would be so kind to fill me in.... Who got sterilized, why, and by who? Thank you William Buck.
just check on their ears or chest. Info is here ruclips.net/video/T8QfWT0oVVc/видео.html

Lol... they are not humans
What-do-they-look-like-now?
Please zoom out some. It is blurry alot and you are just way too close.
That's my early work with my old camera more suitable for landscape photography. We all have to learn somehow :)
poor little batty she is to young to stop milking.xx
Yeah, I thought the same. But I read that the wild rhesus macaques begin to wean the babies at about 4 months old. I think Baty is about 4 months but she looks tiny compared to the boys!

PESIMA FILMACIÓN
Dopey, Reddy, Baty, Stumpy etc. may all be low ranking ( I know their rank counts in their world ) but they are all number one with you and all of us ...... Reddy is such a good mommy...... what did that face the new mom was making at the end of the video mean also when they do a tubal is that when they notch their ears?
Baty and Dopey can rise the ranks all the way to the top, not in this troop but in some troop, someday. Well, Dopey... who knows. He'll have great stories later in life "...and fearlessly I approached the sacred acorns no other would have been nearly brave enough to get near..." Ha!
jcastanza, lol so true I am sure he doesn't have the urge to go grabbing for nuts!
+sharon grissom, Lol! I bet he never touches another nut in his life!
I bet he don't either if he does I bet it will be his own lol
+Sharron grissom they tattoo their chest when they do tubal(same as spay-sterilize) 11:42 you can see a 7. I believe the notch is vaccine(rabies?not sure) to keep from spreading a disease to humans since they're in close contact. Arroz posted a link somewhere in comments for this video
