    I had the honor of making a similar staff for Eveylin Rysdyck, a friend, teacher and author. I was pleased to see the work again. Fine job as always.

    You definitely do more work with the lights dimmed way down or off. Looks better. If I could do my work at night I would, but neighbors might complain

      @@lufolkcrafts from finds. Looks like yours from Gavle. The wrangle staff will be a copy of one a friend of mine made some years ago. I have always wanted to try to re create the Birka staff. That would be a nice challenge. I also need to work on doing one of the augers bits from the Mastermyr find chest this fall.

      I would like to know too. The staff I'm forging here is based on a find. On the original there were traces of leather on one of the pieces but it is unknown for what and why.

    I'm in Sweden, and I have no idea where I can buy wrought iron bars from. Do you have a supplier or is there a store you recommend?

      Jag bor utanför gävle och köper från handelsstål gävle. Vet att dom finns även I uppsala men utöver det har jag dålig koll. Ska du köpa mindre mängd så kan du säker köpa av din lokala svetsfirma. Har för mig biltema har några dimensioner också.

      Not so much nowadays. Guess I have learned the hard way...😅 It works well, I have a better feeling without gloves. But I am sure it is just something I got used to. If I would wear gloves I would probably get used to that as well.
