today's video is about the true ending F from Dead Rising 2. When I found this file in an early build of Dead Rising 2 I was very excited. It seems like Katey is faking her death just to get into the witness protection program. In the end she lives Los Perdidos as Annie. 😮

This implies in the Mel Universe, Off The Record Chuck thinks he's got his daughter's corpse duct-taped to his back like a brand new combo weapon 💀
Yes, Chuck couldn't stand the loss of his daughter. Instead of being eaten by zombies, he took the "corpse" (the doll) and attached it to his back. So he became a nut bar. Then he started drinking alcohol and became the Chuck from OTR and very later Chuck from DR3
Could you actually imagine tho, psycho Chuck having a living zombified Katey taped to his back, always trying to eat him but restrained in such a way he can ignore it and live the fantasy she's still alive

There are times when Capcom might get edgy, so if Katey were to zombify on-screen, they probably would have considered the idea that the zombified Katey might still be intelligent and decided to hide under the couch and slide the doll out in the open so that the doll would bait survivors, then the reanimated Katey would ambush the survivors. Clever undead girl.

Apparently there’s actually a zombified model of her that was never used but is still in the files, unsure how true that is though

Not really, Dead Rising uses Toys and dolls instead of death body of childrens.
That's also why in DR1, in Adam's encounter, the rollercoaster shows an teddy bear and an doll. They didn't want any polemic on they game.

Little late to the party but seeing this got my brain working in how I would have had this cutscene. (FYI this will not be a light touch)
Starts out with Chuck hears the alarm and as he looks at the watch, it goes to split screen with Stacey's looking at the console. Stacey hears something behind her but before she can turn around an unseen rips out Stacey's throat.
Depending on where Chuck is at, it can be Chuck or Sullivan checks the security room out and the room goes dark except for the console that has Stacey dead on it. Which is the only source of light in the room.
Once Chuck or Sullivan (this again depends on if Chuck in the safehouse or not) sees Stacey dead, they hear a snarl and as they look towards the darkness and it cuts to a first person view, a pair of glowing red eyes slowly open and jumps towards the and fade to black. You could have the texts like the end of DR 1, that explains what happened afterwards.

Not quite, but interesting concept nontheless. Katie's backpack can be found in OTR at the start of the campaign in the same room where in the original DR2, Chuck reunites with her following the start of the Outbreak.
Only in OTR - it's found bloodied, indicating Chuck was too late and she'd already been attacked and eaten x.x
