I watch your free painting Internet lessons with delight. They are helpful, but beside the practical aspect I am really appretiative to you both for the joy of harmony and beauty I experience while watching the painting process. The only little remark is that lilac individual flowers have four petals and not five. In Russia we examine lilac сlustets in search for the five-petal flowers as it is believed they bring happiness. If you find one (which is not an easy thing), you may make a wish.

Wow. I'm so glad I came across your channel! I know how to do Bob Ross style paintings with oil paint but I really want to start painting flowers.
Really helpful techniques Kathwren! I LOVE you and Gary and all you do! You guys are so cute together I wish I could have you over for dinner and a nice bottle of wine! I have learned more from your videos in the last few months than the classes I have taken in the past few years. Most classes just have you paint all day by yourself without really telling you anything. I could have been making mistakes for 20 years...now I will have only made mistakes for 10 years...LOL! Thanks so much for the tips and saving us so much time!

thank you so much for what you do, as an educated artist, I have learned a much easier way to paint, and more happy to do them,really really loved the rose pic printed on palette paper and matted, then painted background and stems,so love this technigue
