I'm not ashamed to say i cried like a baby at the end od movie. From the Aragorns coronation when he, and eveybody els, bows to hobbits to the Grey Harbour scene... So touching. So epic.
You know, I often wonder if Tolkien wrote Frodo’s departure to the grey havens as a nod to those who suffered with guilt, depression, PTSD after the war and committed suicide because of it. with Tolkien giving no blame to those that did, rather it’s an acceptance that the wounds from were too much for this life. Frodo left middle earth before his time……
Precious nostalgic sooooo many emotions in that scene and being an empath oooooohhhh. Sam and Pippin heartbreak, Frodo mixed feelings 💔😢 for his loyal friends yet hope of healing his wounded body and soul. Thank you for making this recording available 💜

It's a wonderful scene with wonderful music, but I'm affraid I played too much Battle for Middle Earth, so whenever I hear that music I don't see the grey havens but the Map of Middle Earth and I hear the sound of marching troops in my head...
