I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! so hard to find at pharmacy here in NJ USA. I was using Fibrocol for almost a year on various wounds but would get a lot of maceration, this stuff = no maceration. I've noticed quite a difference since I switched, but I still need to debride. Can I use this with medihoney? I have been but I'm not sure if its just soaking up the medihoney or Santyl making the ointments useless and causing me to have to change the silver alginate sometimes twice a day. I have high exudate.

How long is a dressing left on the wound?

Many thanks for your message. The dressing should be changed when medically intended (e.g. when the dressing has reached its absorbent capacity or whenever good wound care practice dictates a change is needed).
Depending on the level of exudate, the dressing can remain on/in the wound for up to 7 days. The interval between changes should be no more than 7 days. For any enquiries please email us at enquiries@sfm-limited.com

IT IS A GOOD PYODUCT, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD INSURANCE POICY, THE COST OF THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY SO EXPENSIVE IT'LL BLPE YOUR MIND. AND OF COURSE MOST INSURANESWONT EVEN COVER THE COST. AND IF YOU DO USE IT, YOU'LL NEED AT LEAST A SIX MONTH MONTH SUPPLY IF NOT LOMGER.
