Excellent discussion. The problem facing Africa is not just about leadership because leaders can only go so far. It’s about its citizens. What are we as individuals doing to develop our country? How are we changing our mindsets? We have to look into the mirror ourselves too.

What maya said about being honest is very true. We as Ghanaians raise kids to be very timid and quiet. They never voice out their opinions. Teaching them an older person is always right. This must stop ! This is the main reason why Ghanaians aren't very outspoken and can't demand their rights. You should teach kids to be respectful not puppets.

This convoy issue err...a friend of mine was celebrating her birthday and her boyfriend decided to give her a treat at a plush place in Kumasi. He hired police escort for them and they entered there in style, not knowing the Ashanti regional minister was there Hehe....the way the minister stressed them plus the police men er...long story short, the treat turned into crying 🤣🤣🤣

Good candid conversation Jasmine. I am glad you were able to capture this. My cousins and peers (Ghanaian and African) had the same conversation 20 years ago about the lack of infrastructural development and lack of investment and lack of accountability over the years which has held Ghana back from achieving her full potential. Sadly, I fear that the next generation will be having the same conversation in 20 years. I remain hopeful though. x 🙏🏾🇬🇭💚
